Whether you smoke or not is none of my business. But I will ask a provider when booking, if she does. If yes, I move on to the next provider on my list. That being said I did not complain about Lexi being a smoker, I complained about the room smelling like a pack of Marlboros being hot-boxed at one time. As much as I liked to think that I didn't smell like a smoker, I found that after I quit (ok, quit most days) , I could smell cigarette on someone who was an occasional smoker from 10 feet away. What I discovered, much to my chagrin, was that even the most conscientious smoker still has the odor, especially in a situation of close intimacy and proximity. It gets in your hair, in the pores of your skin, and as I mentioned before, lingers in your lungs, so even the strongest breath mints don't help. Especially if you are a person that is highly sensitive to the smell of smoke.

Most of these providers are very nice and obviously are allowing us to enjoy their services so what are your points in criticizing these poor ladies over the most lame issues. My reason for not liking a girl who smokes is not dumb. It's as valid as not wanting to see a girl with an STD.

I also keep my smoking down think some may be imagining a smoke filled room which is not the case LOL and I try to use febreeze. I also never smoke untill I'm alone unless the other person smokes. Most hotels don't have good ventilation nor allow the window to open and also if your in a smoking room it already smells like smoke. I totally agree with your post!

My view of smoking is that it is a habit that I associate with 70s-era bikers, old black-white-movies, and my grandparents.
I cut the older generations some slack on the smoking issue, as they really didn't know any better. But if you passed through the educational system any time since about 1975 (just about everyone on this board) then you should have gotten the message.
The same thing with "blunts", etc. : Understandable when Jimmy Carter was president. Trite and just plain silly today.
