I took notice that obviously, some of you agree with me and/or like me very well and some of you don't. Whichever way you feel, I respect your opinions. I - like everyone else - won't always be right. However, let's not dwell on whether we like somebody or not. Where we disagree, let's agree to disagree (within proper context of reasoning of course). The answer to your question Booner, I've been traveling around - been to Baltimore and Washington DC. And the message to cover up especially in DC cannot be overly emphasized; you're about 31 times more likely to contract HIV in DC than in Columbus with careless behavior. One certain member on this board perhaps won't stay healthy much longer in DC by barebacking all the SWs there. I'd be careful about mongering in Baltimore until learning of the police cameras with spinning blue lights on top of the cameras all over the bad neighborhoods there. "to me, it looked like she didn't want to be there," said the woman, a nearby resident who asked not to be identified for fear of retribution. "she didn't ask for help or anything, but she seemed worried."

federal investigators say neighbors in green's south linden neighborhood likely saw young women or girls who worked for him as prostitutes. the 65-year-old and his friend, bridgette baugh, 34, both of 1207 e. 19th ave., were charged this week with transporting seven columbus women across state lines to engage in prostitution.

the sting was sad news yesterday among dozens of social workers, clergy members and law-enforcement officers who had gathered for a conference in columbus on human trafficking.

members of the central ohio rescue and restore coalition, one of 21 such organizations nationwide, said they are trying to raise awareness about the growing number of children and adults who are coerced into the sex trade or trapped in servitude.

"studies show that about a third of runaway kids are lured into prostitution," columbus police detective ken lawson said. "but most victims do not come forward."

federal investigators said an undercover officer and an informant made arrangements with green to provide girls for a hotel party in huntington, w.va.

green and baugh were arrested there on wednesday and were being held at the western regional jail in barboursville, w.va. according to an affidavit, green told investigators that he could supply **** girls -- as young as 6 -- for sex.

those who made the trip, however, were between 18 and 35.

"the investigation could expand to see whether there might be others, or **** people, involved," said fred alverson, spokesman for the u.s. attorney's office. "at this point, the charge is not human trafficking. it has some of the elements, but we'll have to see what the investigators come up with."

if human trafficking were the offense in an ohio case, filing a federal charge under the trafficking victims protection act would be the only option. ohio does not have a human-trafficking law. at least 40 other states do, lawson said. "here, it's never made it out of committee."

some in law enforcement think that state trafficking laws are potentially duplicative and lead to difficult-to-prove cases when the victims are adults. coercion is more patent when sex workers or laborers are ****.

but lawson and others said that trafficking cases sometimes wind up being prosecuted under less-stringent laws such as solicitation.

alverson said the women who went to huntington aren't being charged. one told investigators that her mother had been selling her to green for drugs since she was 14, according to the affidavit.

vickie green, a friend who said she was housesitting for william green yesterday, said the charges are unfair. she said the women had agreed to go to west virginia to dance, not to sell sex.

"mr. green is a nice man. when women don't have a place to stay, he gives them a place. he's not a pimp."

the sex toys that investigators removed from the house, which appeared to have a surveillance video camera in the front window, mean nothing, vickie green said.

Not at all. Your posts are informative and useful. Not many have posted about BSWs in this city the way you do. Props to Chris H though...but until you popped up, he was the about the only consistent reporter on BSWs.

No, not her. I've tried to call her a few times, but the ph# is that of a 'friend' and she got mad at me for using up her minutes.

Tina told me it was just the 4, Nicole (miranda), Diamond (#2) a WSW and another one. Iknow it wasn't stephanie, cause I saw her last nite (walking).
However, this afternoon, the cops were sure hanging around Cleve and 23rd (gas station) and the brick house on the corner of 21st.

So I ran into Kimberly the other night around Reeb & 4th, saw her, pulled over she gets in, says hi, takes the boys out, bends down and gives a great bbbjcim as usual. Gave her .2 + McD's.
