Several weeks ago I posted a request for a suggestion for a hot tub place not too far from Boston. I don't recall who responded, and I can't find the posting, but sincere thanks to whoever it was who suggested trying one of the Cave Rooms at the Candlelite Motor Inn in Middleton (candlelitemotorinn. Com).
This morning I took my FWB there. She loves hot tubs so was looking forward to it. Previously she had been to Supertan in Manchester, NH, so was able to make a direct comparison.
Before we went I called and was told there would be no problem getting a Cave Room in the morning, and that no reservation would be needed. We arrived about 11:00AM and had no problem getting a Cave Room. The cost was $46. 98 (taxes included) for two hours.
We were given two tokens to be used for access to our room. Note that the Cave Rooms are kind of out of the way, their location not obvious. After you drive around behind the building you park below a patio; if you're lucky you'll see the sign pointing to "Cave Rooms". So you go up the stairs, across the patio, in a door, and find yourself in an unmarked hall with no signs. You go down the stairs and find yourself in another hall, but this time there's a locked door that says "Spa" on it. As soon as you try the door you get buzzed in to another long hall. Outside each Cave Room is a coin machine. You put in one token which opens the door and then immediately put in the other token.
You go in, close the door and WTF! It's dark. And I do mean dark. Except for the bathroom, the only lights are dark red. It takes several minutes for your eyes to adjust, and even then it's difficult to see. Take a flashlight with you. I'm quite serious. You'll appreciate having it.
The bathroom had normal lighting, although it was a bit subdued. It was clean, not the slightest hint of grime. The shower stall was large enough for two people to use at the same time. Unfortunately the shower head didn't work very well, as all we got was a dribble, just barely adequate to rinse off. We had been provided with four towels, but there was no soap.
It was dark climbing into the hot tub. There was a timer for the bubbler, but it was so dark we almost missed it. We enjoyed the hot tub for a while and then rinsed off in the shower before heading for the bed.
The bed takes up an entire room. It's wall-to-wall, spacious, at least queen sized. It was comfortable, and there were two pillows. On the wall was a dial for air conditioning. But since it's DARK it's easy to not see it. Given the heat coming off of the hot tub you'll want to turn it on.
I asked my FWB what she thought. She thoroughly enjoyed the Cave Room, much more than Supertan, and wants to go back. I was pleased that the basic fee covered.
Two hours. Other places charge by the hour and are at least twice as expensive. With two hours available we didn't have to rush or watch the clock.
Last summer I was sent out to western mass. For two months For work. Two weeks into my stay I met a women who worked out of our Northhampton office. We went for drinks after work and she suggested that we go to the hot tubs at East Heaven Hot Tub Co. I had never been there and she said her boy friend did not like to go with her. Sure I said and went to my hotel room (I was staying at Hotel Northhampton) to change from my work clothes into something more casual, I grabbed a bathing suit (which I was hoping I would not need but not wanting to be put in an embarrising position if I was not reading her right) A couple bottles of wine (I had to wrap them up because east heaven does not allow glass bottles in) and a towel (they give you nice towels I found out) When we got to the tubs I paid extra for the outdoor one and we were led up a flight of stairs to a really sweet set up, a roof deck, with a shower, a toilet and a huge hot tub That is totally private. As we were getting undressed I kinda dragged my feet to see what she was going to do, off came her t-shirt and shorts and out came a nice set of double the's and a shaved pussy. She had a big ass to go with the tits but you can't have every thing. No need for the bathing suit. We had a greattime needless to say. I would recommend this hot tub and the hotel although both are a little on the pricey side. But you only live once.
