"Sugarbabies" / "Arrangements" Amateurs or Not?

I don't really talk to my babies very much. Mostly email or text. I found that for burners, tracphone offers the best value for money. They double your 30 days to 60. I generally buy the $20 card (30 days) and found that the minutes are more than enough.

It was huge for me when I was mongering because I never used the minutes, but needed to keep the same number to prevent having to go through verification every time I wanted to use a service.

I bought a phone for $25 and refill $25 at a time. I buy 1000 texts for $10 a month. Voice is $0. 10 a minute but I use very little. Perhaps 1 or 2 dollars a month.

If the SO doesn't get in your phone). Your card gets billed like any other paid app, through the app store. If you have a smart phone but don't want the app on that device, you can get something like a cheap tablet or iPod, run the app on that, and tether the connectivity to your phone (or just use wi-fi).

TracPhone becomes too expensive if you text a lot. I ended up getting a StraightTalk from Wal-Mart. Fixed price. Text / talk as much as you want.

What's the monthly fee on Straighttalk?

I use SA messaging to make contact, then generally move most communication to email. I generally only use the tracphone to confirm FC plans or to monger. I need something that doesn't require WiFi in case I'm running late to the FC and get stuck in traffic.

Many poor reviews. Don't think I'll be using it. Many complaints on credit card being charged on the free trial.

I've been fine just using SA and moving it over to email. Yahoo so it is in a separate app and I log out religiously. And snapchat for convos with a couple of my regular friends. (Which is lovely because they send me pics all the time.).

I've never had a billing issue with them. I don't remember how the trial works works with Hushed, but free trial / charge complaints are almost always because someone signed up for the trial then forgets to cancel before the trial is up. That's a user-stupidity problem and not the app makers problem. I've dealt with customer support before (regarding technical issue) and they were excellent, even proactively following up to see if things had improved.

I don't even think I ever tried the free trial -- what I would recommend is just sign up and get a number and try it first. You can get a 7 day number for two dollars, a 30 day number for 4 dollars, or a 90 day number for 10 dollars (one year is $30 which is how I do it).

I am always charged through the Apple app store, not sure how the Google store works but you're basically protected from billing scams via Apple in their store, so the complaints you're reading are probably Google related.

There is no trace of numbers dialed except within the app itself. You can allow it to use your phone contacts or stay isolated from it. There is no connection between the calls you make on Hushed and your actual phone plan. There was a time when I don't think it received picture texts properly but it does now.

It's also good for getting temporary, disposable numbers for things like services that require phone verification by sending you a code, since you can quickly generate a new phone number for only 2 bucks that's good for a week, then just let it expire.

Another benefit is that when you create a phone number, you can designate the country / city / area code you want that number to come from, creating an extra layer of anonymity if you need it.
