To state this as an example, a clean report on a test run today would reflect the medical condition as of the girl (hypothetically) 60 days ago so any bug acquired during the immediately preceding 60 days would not show up on the report as a positive. I don't know what the delay is but I'm sure this is one. And if a girl was clean yesterday and caught a bug today I don't know how quickly she would become contageous. Seems to me there might be a different answer depending on the group of bugs on the test.

Over the next few days, we each felt progressively worse. My doctor did a throat culture, and that's how they found it in me. The pubic bumps and sores appeared shortly thereafter. They gave me an anti-viral medication, which speeds the healing, and I have a follow-up visit tomorrow to discuss long-term therapy.

HYB was oblivious. She says she does not have obvious sores, so they never tested her for it. At my insistence, we did anonymous testing through [url]www.tstd.org[/url] Yesterday at a local lab. The results returned today.

I believe HYB contracted it from her other SD, because she finally confessed yesterday that she's been barebacking him for months. By coincidence, I had a negative test on September 13, which leaves only two other potential partners, both of whom I now have little reason to suspect. Plus, I was protected with each of them (aside from oral).

HSV-2 is a virus that has no cure. I will be stuck with this my entire life. It can be suppressed, to varying degrees, and outbreaks controlled with medication. But I always risk passing it on whenever I have unprotected sex. Although the risk of transmission is relatively low when there is no outbreak, the risk remains. The risk is also very low, but again not zero, for unprotected oral.

There is a high likelihood that this one terrible decision will ruin my marriage as well. I am currently working through how and when to tell my wife. I've decided she needs to know soon, as we were considering children in the next year or two. I will be lucky if she even considers keeping me around. (Thanks to the confidential brother who has been guiding me through all this.)

I know that in the interest of brevity I've created many gaps in the story and that you may have questions. I'll be honest in saying that I don't know if I will be able (or will want) to answer them all. You can post them here or PM me. Needless to say, my days in the sugar bowl are done.

But as for [b][u]H' I[/u]'[/b] V' {"[b][u]human immunodeficien[/u]cy[/b]" virus: the one that causes A'I'D's} that "look-back-period" effect is quite true: it can take from four to eight weeks from the time the person gets infected before any tests can detect that they are infected; however I don't think it's been clearly established whether the person carrying the virus can transmit it during that initial incubation period; as far as I've read: the A'I'D's-scientists are still not absolutely sure just how contagious H'I'V' in semen is during fellatio &\or well-lubricated_but_unprotected vaginal intercourse where there are no abrasions or bleeding gums or open sores or other exposures of sub-mucosal tissues; I know that there are several well-documented cases of infected men having extensive unprotected coitus {but [b][u]not un[/b]-lubricated anal or other[/u] "rough" sex that can cause blood-exposures} with their S'O's for long periods of time after the male-partner became infected without the female-partner becoming infected! I can't believe it's been 4 days since the last post on this forum. What's up with you guys anyway? I have to admit that I've been lazy lately and haven't taken the time to update the board with my SD experiences for quite a while. So, although I don't have any earth shattering news to share, I feel I need to "prime the pump" a little here to get the water flowing once again.

I depend on you guys for my entertainment and education, so I feel like something is missing from my life when I don't have at least a couple of new posts a day to read to keep me going. Anyway, here is where this old SD is with his current escapades:

Since most of my SBs have been local college girls, this week is an interesting time for me. I have met and stayed in contact with several college SBs over the past year and it is the end of the first semester this week for most of our local campuses. This is both good and bad depending on the SB.

1. My oldest SB (22 yo AA business major) is graduating this semester and moving back home until she finds a job. She has asked to meet one last time this week before she heads out to pursue her future. Although I've moved on from her several months ago, can't resist the farewell meeting in the FC before she leaves on Saturday. I've been pretty quiet lately because I pretty much found what I was looking for. My ATF SB is basically like a mistress / quasi-girlfriend. We talk or chat just about everyday. I don't give her a set $ per meet nor do I give her a set monthly allowance. We might do some light shopping, goto the movies, and then to the FC. I might send her 150-300 in the middle of the week for something, I might not. So I'm not a walking ATM with her. I'm more like a money tree that sometimes drops fruit and that requires some care on her part. Some of you may think,"Isn't that the same thing?". No it's not. When you're a walking ATM, your SB looks at your meets strictly as a $$ cash withdraw. She yanks your joystick and $$ dispenses out of your wallet. Whereas when you're a money tree, your SB will be more concerned with nurturing and keeping you happy overall so that you continue to bear fruit for her. It's not about expecting X amount of cash on individual meets with her, it's more about having a continuous steady harvest of $$ from my money branches.

The way things are going it seems like we could last awhile. We're both pretty laid-back. There's no "contractual" requirements that could trip us up (ie. Things like, Must meet 3-4 per month, must give her x amount of allowance per meet, and etc). I doubt she'll end things unless she needs to "move on" to a new stage in her life. I'm happy with her with the attention she gives me and she's smokin hot. The appointed day, yesterday, arrived, we did in fact meet as planned (which has not been happening with any regularity for me lately) , and as we are walking back to her condo, she mentioned that we would need to be a little aware of the time, since her gay male roommate would be home from work in about an hour or so. Hmm, the Spidey Sense is beginning to tingle, but so is Scottie, and he has more of my attention at this moment, so I let her lead me back to the "guest room", where we get down to work, and a good time was had by all. Just as I am suiting Scottie up for Round 2, we hear the unmistakeable sound of the front door opening, and my baby jumps up, turns off the light and pushes the lock on the door in one swift movement, all the while whispering "shit, shit, shit." Now this does not strike me as the kind of reaction to a gay roommate, male or female, suddenly coming home early, nor at this point is the mood really conducive to further romance, so I put the minimum amount of clothes on in order to get out the door, stuff the rest in my pockets, and stand next to Naked Baby, listening. My brothers, if you have never experienced what it is like to suddenly acquire a super power, this is the way to do it. I swear I could hear the guy breathing, and I certainly could hear the pounding of my heart. After a minute or two, he goes into the bathroom, at which point she opens the door, grabs me by the shirt, and pushes me towards the front door. I beeline out of there, fully understanding that this was no gay roommate, but more surely a boyfriend or husband! I have to admit that once I made it safely onto the street, and into my car, with the doors locked and motor running, I felt a little like James Bond, but I'm not sure how many more of those experiences the old ticker can take.

Sitting in the car, I shoot Bond Girl a text, saying how fun and exciting that was, but next time suggesting that we keep it to just the two of us, and get back a "for sure xoxo", so I assume her cover has not been blown and point the car towards HQ and safety. If that were all, it would be memory enough, but this afternoon I got a longer text thanking me, in part, for being so discreet and speedy in exiting the apartment, and ending with this: "for an old guy, you really know how to fuck lol! Can't wait for next time!" You know, I'll take it as a compliment.

More fun to come, now that my local bad luck streak is hopefully broken.

So here is where I am. Considering the advice, I wanted to see how much of an issue this would be. So I had the first date. The meet-and-greet with my conflict of interest went nice.
