I wanted to give her a try. Her comms were initially okay. She's got some intelligence and a lurking sense of humor. But soon afterwards when it came time to schedule, comms dropped off. Hours later I received the "I was tired and fell asleep" text. Yeah, I get that; a lot of addicts nod off.

For giggles I tried to reestablish contact. Similar BS comms. Based on everything going on around us (poor quality choices, inflated GPS prices, sting ops), wasting your time on someone like Raina is pointless and ill advised.

So they rob you for 30 or so bucks and now they're out all the $ you could have brought to her in the future. And eventually when the bf gets locked up or something she won't have no one to see after burning all her bridges and she'll be stuck walking or doing dates for cheap.

I reported on her back on June 17th (post 19353) as being basically a WSW advertising on escort sites, toothy BBBJ, and jacked up on something. She's definitely been used up a bit to put it nicely. Definitely not worth repeating.It was bad, but still not sure why this is in the Ripoff Forum.

2. Why would you want to bring a gun in the first place? Ohio may be an open carry state but what you going to do? Shoot the guy and claim self defense while not in your own home? Going to look bad either way since you're with a known prostitute to LEO.

This is precisely why I only leave my house with the agreed upon donation (plus a few extra bucks just in case) my keys, burner phone and pew pew. I also make it known in a form of asking rates that this is all I'll have on me, I typically say something along the lines of "I leave my wallet at home, so what are your donations again?" A handful of girls have stopped replying or even hung up on me over the years, I feel like this tactic has saved me from set ups.

The few times it hasn't, I was only out the donation and change I brought, and blue balls. I never really fear for my life. I knew the routine and just showed empty pockets. They never followed me to my car and if they did, that's when I would have introduced S&W to them and took the offensive. But a lot still would have had to happen to pull the trigger.

As for many of us this is a "secret" lifestyle. I'd have a hard time explaining why I was at some hotel near my house or some place in the hood to people in my personal life LOL.

But SYG is a slippery slope, we aren't cops, there has to be hard evidence we feared for our lives and had to use deadly force.

It may have less to do with self defense and more to do with why you are there. If unfortunately this hobbyist was carrying and push came to shove, and police showed up. If investigating it came out that you were there paying an escort for services (soliciting in the eyes of the law), you were committing a misdemeanor. If you were armed while soliciting and brandished it, per the Ohio revised code listed above, they could turn it into a felony and if convicted the misdemeanor ticket just turned into a mandatory 3 year prison sentence. At the very least, it would cost someone thousands in attorney fees to argue out of it.

As much as I have thought about putting my glock in my console when cruising, it's just not worth the added risk of explaining it away. And I believe whole heartedly in self defense.

If you robbed a store you were sentenced for the robbery plus the mandatory 3 year gun spec law. That's totally different than SYG self defense laws. And I never said he needed to fire the weapon, when shithead pulled the knife, he pulled his firearm, ordered shithead into the bathroom with the skank, then he could have left peacefully. Course, I would have demanded the skank to toss out the donation she was paid up front, then left.

And myself and any attorney would argue the same interpretation of that also. But that's the point. The thousands of dollars it would cost for you and all the publicity for you to have to argue that. It is nothing for the judicial system to stack charges on someone even if it can be remotely connected. Watch any youtube video of cops in action. 'I told him to sit down and he kept standing". Resisting, 'I told him to shut up while I was asking questions and he kept interrupting'. Obstruction. If any hobbyist gets caught in a situation like this, I guarantee the cops are going to detain everyone until they can stack as many charges as they can on everyone there, including the hobbyist. Then when it gets to the prosecutors, they are going to stack even more. And what do they care? They don't The cops will show up to court just fine, because they are on the clock getting paid to do it. The prosecutor, he gets paid to show up to court and hit you with as much as possible. The judge, he gets paid to sit there and listen to you try and get out of it. The entire judicial system gets paid to put you through the system. And if all the charges fail, nothing happens to them. They go about their day and do it to someone else. And you are left with the huge attorney fee, possible loss of job, and any explanation to family members. Even if you do get off.

Trust me, I completely understand where you are coming from. Every time I read these stories I think the same thing. I Just want to watch that punks face when he realizes he brought a pocket knife to a gunfight and watch him beg. But unfortunately to many things could go sideways. Not to mention even if no shots were fired and he gave you all his money in return. Best case scenario they write off there losses and try it again on the next guy. Worst case scenario he beats the crap out of the girl.

Anywho, just my 2 cents. I usually stay out of these conversations. Be safe, these forums are a great tool to stay safe. And if I had the opportunity, I would buy Monger407 a beer any day for coming out of that and reporting it to use so we can be safe and avoid it. Especially because I have also seen gen twice and was going to a third time.

You just drew a gun on someone and now have to either shoot them or walk out. Let's say you shoot them. The cops show up and question you about why you were at a hotel, what happened, how do you know the victim and run checks on you. You better have a damn good story made up as to what is going on. The whole carrying a gun thing might make you feel bad ass, but it puts even more risk on you.
