Careful out there guys things seem to be heating up in CT. First Stamford reports a bust and now Berlin. Let's hope this is all due to the incident that occurred in October per the report below. This occurred January 15th.

BERLIN -- A local massage parlor is accused of offering patrons more than just a back rub.
Police said Tuesday that Sun Acupressure on Farmington Avenue was a front for prostitution and that both the owner and an employee had been arrested. The business was closed Tuesday.
The business owner, XXXX, was charged after a "masseuse" offered an undercover police officer sex in exchange for money.
"It was a lengthy investigation stemming fron an incident in October," police received tips and complaints about the business from people in the community.
Berlin police and the Connecticut State Police conducted the investigation.
A Sun Acupressure customer tried visiting the establishment Tuesday afternoon, only to find its doors locked and blinds drawn. He declined to comment.
An "Under Construction" sign was posted on the front door.
Some business owners in the area said they didn't notice anything unusual happening at Sun Acupressure. However, there was talk about what happened behind its doors.

After hearing the news, I can't help but think if it was my previous post that might have contributed to this tragedy. I have not been on this scene long enough, but I am sure she is a true treasure, and it just sickens my stomach to hear of things like this. And these guys, they're nothing but a bunch of p*ss*** that prey on helpless girls and take advantage of them. I am sure there is justice in life, and they will soon pay for their actions/crimes.

Well I saw Christina bright and early this morning. First of all let me say she is okay!! I had a long conversation with her about the events that occurred this weekend and got the first hand story. The info is a bit different than previously posted here. Anyone who wants more info please PM me. Her only request at this point is that she stop being a topic of conversation here. I will elaborate a bit more later today.
Eight SW arrested Fri night on Ashley St. One was a guy dressed as a girl. Targets were SW not patrons.
Posting information on the guy who assualted her on this board will accomplish nothing. Unless a monger is going to his house to beat him up (please do NOT consider this) there will be no action. Even if a member of the Hartford Police actively reads this particular board in hopes of catching providers, he could not make an arrest based on a post.
Its really quite a simple matter, if Christina does not go to the cops and file a criminal complaint, nothing can happen. The only time a cop can arrest someone for a crime without a complaining witness is if he WITNESSES the crime. Even an outright confession is not enough to sustain an arrest without a complaint. If I post a message on here saying I punched Stoner in the nose (for example of course) police could do nothing unless Stoner filed a complaint. This is why postings by each of us detailing illegal activities such as prostitution never result in us being arrested. Cops can easily find out who "Luvdozer" really is, but no arrest can result unless there is a complaint OR they witness the crime.
The reason that Christina should expect cooperation from the police is the relative seriousness of the two crimes. She is used to being hassled by the cops for prostitution and they certainly try to reduce or eliminate the practice. But rape and assault and infinitely more serious. A reported rape gets counted in the cities crime statistics, so there is incentive to investigate the complaint and make an arrest if possible. Police detectives tend to be rather pragmatic about the whole thing - if they have to choose between rapists running around unpunished because prostitutes are deep underground versus a violent predator being put in jail because they ignore a single instance of prostitution, they will choose the latter.
For those in touch with her - please note that these are GENERAL comments. I have no experience with Hartford PD. Police departments can be all over the place with this stuff. Her best bet is to contact a rape crisis center. These places specialize in guiding women through the process. If Hartford PD is particularly good or bad, they will know for sure. Finally, she should know that she has missed her best opportunity to get the guy since she did not go to an ER for treatment and have a rape kit done. This doesnt make prosecution impossible, just somewhat more difficult.

Not to make light of this incident in any manner but a rape kit! No offense but with the profession of this woman that may only narrow the suspect down to a handfull of people or so.
By the way Amanda has been pinched by LE and is now in jail for an extended period of time. Please be careful out there!

Even if a woman has sex with 10 guys in one evening, a properly done rape kit can still prove if a given person is one of the those 10. The injuries and testimony of the victim can take care of the rest.
The point you make is exactly why most SWs never report rapes - they assume no one will beleive them. It is also why rapists routinely prey on SWs, especially when they begin assualting women - they know there is a certain amount of safety in assuaulting this group.
If more SWs were brave enough to come forward, seek treatment at ERs, and file charges; and if more police departments and DAs understood that rapists are rapists and a danger to all women, then SW would be a much safer activity.

I completely agree with you. No offense intended. Please excuse my lack of information/knowledge on the issue of rape kits. I shall keep my comments to issues I do have knowledge of.

This is a first for me! I have been a long time reader and have become increasingly disturbed by the amount of detail on the ladies. Especially Christina! I have seen her on several occasions and find her to be a very nice person.
Please! We don’t know who reads what is written here and if we are not careful we can add to the danger these young ladies live with everyday!
I myself have always tried to treat them with respect and would hope we all would but apparently this is not always true.

Thanks for your report on the Sun Accupressure Spa in Berlin. I've been out of town since last Monday and had not heard that news before now.
From my experience, Sun has always been a HJ-only place ever since they opened (please refer to numerous posts in the "CT - Other Areas" board here on WSG). Although I've been a regular there since the very first day that they opened, I've never been able to get more than a HJ (or a "Russian" in two instances), and they clearly know me well there and know that I'm not a cop. So either they have suddenly changed their MO or else the Berlin police are willing to prosecute even for HJ-only.
Hard to believe that neighboring businesses were complaining, since this place is very discreet. Maybe it's just that Berlin is one of those towns that won't tolerate MPs or AMPs, although that's strange since there's a strip bar (Infrared, formerly Showgirls) around the corner from Sun Accupressure.
The story also makes me think that the arresting officer must have been a patron more than once, to build up some trust from the girls. Sounds a bit like entrapment to me.
