Texted back and forth, even asked her if she was law enforcement or anything like that and she lied and said no. Showed up at her room, she let me in and before I even took 2 steps in the door, 5 cops rushed out the bathroom told me to face the wall put my hands behind my back and I was getting handcuffed. Led me to an adjacent room, emptied out my pockets, took pics of my I'd and phone, asked some questions, read me my rights, asked me to stand next to a wall and took some photos of me. I basically just kept quiet, refused to say anything after they read my rights. They cited me for solicitation, told me to never do this again and then let me go. Got a court date in a few months.

Was just trying to warn others based on my experience but I guess it backfired. From now on I'll just take the trip down to Tijuana if I feel the impulse. Yeah it's inconvenient but if you get caught it's a cash on spot fine, not something which can be pulled on a us background check. Later guys and stay safe.
