Delayed arrest for hobbying?
If you check wake co photo site you will see 11/17 an arrest for topic-related activities. The agency is NCSU police, which is apparently where the subject worked, based on address search. The charges date to 10/2! WTF? 6 weeks is about the turnaround time for an investigation into computer / tech crimes. Is it possible his employer caught him on a sugar daddy site / etc and made a report?
Lots of speculation here. But - if what I surmise is correct, then this could be an example of your ashley madison / eros / WYP / SA whatever sugar daddy site activity coming back to get you.
Open discussion for anyone who might have more insight.
Search of NC State Staff Directory.
Produces no such person.

Who knows, but things aren't always (usually) what they may appear to be
They call everything "human trafficking" now because it gets in the news and makes the cops, chief, sheriff, and the the DA's office looking good to the taxpayers. "We're protecting your kids. " If you're forcibly kidnapping a random minor off the streets, drugging them and selling them on STG, you're going to to get the book thrown at you. However, you know as well as I do that most of these cases are NOT of that description and usually involve a runaway, already on drugs, lying about their age, prostituting themselves while sharing a place with an adult who had no hand in it, etc. It's often much more subtle. Don't believe the hype.
Ever pay for a motel room for a hooker and she stayed there and saw other clients afterward? You could easily be arrested for "promoting prostitution" which any cop or ADA will be happy to list as "human trafficking. ".
Keep in mind the context of "Baby's" situation. I don't know her, but apparently everybody else does, and she has a well-heeled sugardaddy apparently. If you have something other than a court-appointed public defender, 5 months is plenty of time to keep getting the bond reduced to a manageable amount, credit for time served, etc. And if you walk into court looking like her and carry yourself well (hint: Looks like a 20 something hottie you would see out and about in brier creek or cary rather than a thugged out addict), as long as you didn't murder 3 people or dismember your kids, you're going to get out sooner than later. Especially if you can prove you have a stable living situation to go to.

Look for CAG in mid June.
What I see in charges looks to be all drug trafficking related rather than prostitution trafficking? Maybe they knew she was pimping out a minor but didn't have enough legal proof so busted her for max drug charges?
Someone mentioned her social media indicated she is now out. If the case it seems odd she would be out that soon with charges of selling a minor and a 1. 5 million bail. But IDK just trying to dot connect. Other research shows her 1st bust for maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances was when she was 17 or 18. Damn.
That most recent mugshot is actually the best I have seen of her. Looks like a 20 something hottie you would see out and about in brier creek or cary rather than a thugged out addict / dealer.[/QUOTE]
Be careful out there, guys!

Fayetteville / Cedar Creek / etc
I am sure I'm not the only one who ventures south occasionally for fun times. Cedar Creek is fairly popular with some well-known girls, and until now, the "other" side of 95 has never given me much pause, until TWO shootings last weekend, one fatal.
Anyone who might feel the urge to make a round trip this weekend should definitely be aware of increased uncle presence, including ALPR.

Probably a good time to find some UTRs or home-based chicks, else avoid the Ville until things calm down. What a shame.
Call from US Marshall LT John Stevens from the Raleigh Police Department phone#
I reached out to two providers I found in RubMD about two weeks ago. Both were super responsive but pressed hard for deposits, so I dropped contact with them.
Today I got a call from a Raleigh number that googles as the Raleigh PD but the person identified themself as a US Marshall.
Said they had found a phone that was owned by "Susan Casanova" and she was a missing minor thought to be kidnapped and in use in human trafficking and the last contact on the phone was from my number.
He would not share the phone number I supposedly used to reach her or her alias.
Several times he told me to google the phone number and his name. The phone number does good as Raleigh PD but his name shows up in a number of benign entries not related to any law enforcement.
He went on to ask me if I saw her or knew where she was. I told him I had no recollection of a Susan Casanova.
He told me that their procedure was to refer me to a psychological evaluation and if that checked out they would know I am not involved with her disappearance. That evaluation would cost me $1,000+ and be refundable if I 'passed".
I declined his offer and he said that they would send 'a unit' to my house to arrest me and take me 'downtown'. I asked which downtown, since I don't live in Raleigh, and he stammered and finally said Raleigh and gave me the street address for the main Raleigh PD.
So far I have not seen a Raleigh PD officer or a US Marshall.
Any similar experience with any of you?
