A women being a sex trafficking victim and a sex preditor has a good guy and a bad guy. This follows basic story telling rules so they slant the story that way. News isn't about telling facts any more it's about telling a story and getting ratings.

That interpretation came from the Obama Justice Department in 2014. It has taken time for local municipalities to follow suit.

Obama broadened the term trafficking likening it to modern day slavery. The Attorney General then pushed to have soliciting prostitutes reclassified as trafficing and to classify prostitutes as crime victims not criminals. The thought process for this started in Chicago, Cook County. It all fits with the "Men are evil" alt. Left mindset. It's not an easy Google because it's tough to narrow down the results. I know what I remember and the discussion on this and other boards at the time. Whether or not the trafficking charge sticks is irrelevant. It's a felony charge. You don't write a check and it goes away. Just ask the guys charged in the article.

You guy's having problems should look into getting a VPN (Virtual Private Network). NordVPN is excellent and not expensive. In case you don't know what that is; it's basically a re-router of your IP address. You download the VPN software and you then hook up to one of their servers which are located all around the world. Once you do that your internet provider has no idea what sites you are trying to look at because you will have a different IP address.

It's not very complicated really and all of us should be using a VPN. Just like you wouldn't dare use your real phone to contact a provider. A VPN is basically like a burner phone for your internet connection. Get one.

FWIW. Did a simple restart and can now access the site just as before with existing bookmarks.

I've run into that too and it seems that a lot of them are really nice gals, but not the brightest bulbs.
