Let out at 5 am vehicle was left in a lot on the other side of town. No money, the cops kept it (Rizzo style policing still continued in the city) Yes, it was a summory offense. Yes, paperwork was mailed several times to my house. I don't remember all of the charges but two were traffic, obstruction of right of way or something like that. Entered No Contest, paid and left.

The point is, I don't know with today and the internet, the Crime Blotters being posted and readily available, Police Nixle alerts and posts, etc. , along with the drama (drugs and boyfriend) and risks associated with her, why in the world would she even be considered or continued to be option / discussed?

Had this forum been avaialble back then, maybe I would never received the paper or the expereince of a Philly lock up. But I do know to minimize my risks and exposure, and do the homework. Risks VS Rewards, Little Head VS Big Head, some judgmemts get clouded at times.

There are ways to learn (experientially & "book learning") and it stinks when one gets the hits that go with the former, bad experiences. After all the point of these threads is to share info so that others can hopefully learn from those who went before and avoid many of the bad things that can happen. Your post does that quite well and it takes guts to share such, kudos.

But what appears sad to this chair, is that there appears to be many out there with the exuberance of youth, a severe lack of knowledge and cavalier attitude toward learning from history or others. That's OK, I guess, but frustrating to see. I don't want to see anyone have the kind of learning experiences you found. I suspect that had the 'net been around and "the rules" available one would have avoided both of those situations.

My perception, right or wrong, is that with the internet generation, style and form outweighs substance. If one doesn't like the style of the presentation: too wordy, long, or something else, then even though the advice might be what one needs to learn, the advice is ignored. That's sad, but the person doing that is cheating them self. Failing to learn from others because they have a 'hard-on' for the style or person. Learned long ago that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink and you can provide information from hard won experiences but many will just ignore it because they know better (hubris) or "it's easy" or they have discounted the info due to personal animus or dislike of style. But that shouldn't stop anyone from trying or providing insight, advice or experiences.

But your last two paragraphs hit the nail on the head. The scenario presented has a level of risk that is unacceptable to most. Sure there will be a dude or two that thinks they can outsmart the system, and maybe get away with it for a while. Stuff works until it doesn't. So thanks for jumping in and sharing and perhaps your words will hit the target.

But responses like that are why I go into so much detail. There are things to learn in the hobby to stay safe. I have had enough scrapes over time to know that it is always prudent to be on ones toes. Eh, a couple of recent incidences have reminded me about the need for patience when mongering. I guess, personally it highlights some progress too.

You see years ago I use to get pretty worked up while mongering: girls never on time, ghosting girls, mo response to texts, callls or emails, hitting the streets when really worked up and using 3/4 of a tank of gas and not seeing anything at all, GPS girls, fakes, flakes and many other "stuff" that happens in the hobby. But I guess someone must have snuck a can of patience into my chow as this "stuff" still happens, I just don't get too excited by it anymore.

I mean if you are fishing the streets or dealing with drug users online, I had to learn what "hooker time" is / was. Because of the drugs these girls can't keep time. "I'll be right there," really means, I'll get around to it in an hour of so.

Then of course there are the girls who post and advert, but NEVER respond to a text or call or respond to a few and then go ghost. Shoot even the ones who date you, but can't be found again.

On days off I frequently spend a fair amount of time looking through adverts on various posting sites. I never go for just one as that is guaranteed failure or frustration. So I might do DD on a dozen or two posts: GI pic searches, number searches, looking through previous contacts, searching these threads. It takes A LOT of time and energy.

Then of course there are the contacts, perhaps getting a reply. Then the process of discovering the girl doesn't "do" BB BJ. Yeah, FRUSTRATING! Why can't they just put that in their advert? Finding the rate, menu and then hosting situation or openness to car date or quick trip to The Crown. All takes time and has many places for pitfalls. I think one thing to remember is, if these girls were great in the business world, they probably wouldn't be walking or advertising in the sites they do, unfortunately.
