There are many reasons why the upsell in your area.

The main, I think, is because of BB demand in LA. Back when BB was a banned word on many sites, the BB beauties thread here was popping. I lurked for years here, I know. Read up on all sites that have forums or even when a bust happens Le admits they created fake handles and such and messaged guys on girls, how to get services, donations, and etc. Some guys are very vulnerable and will release info without even thinking of the ramifications for the entire hobby community.

At a minimum, every report of a street roll, hotel incall, or outcall to your pad should include:

1. Location. Obviously much more important for street stuff.

I ate in restaurants the entire time, was never given shit for not wearing a mask except for the brief second entering the restaurant, and flown in a dozen planes with people who have the sanitation habits of farm animals. I washed my hands frequently, and I made it a point not to touch my face unless I re-washed my hands. Even on the planes, I used hand wipes if I so much as got near someone. I only wore a mask on the planes during takeoff and landing.

California's spread and fatality rate is as bad as some third world countries. It is not the mitigation that work, it is individual and group sanitation.
