I have been lurking and reading things here for at least 10 years. I'm admittedly a very lucky person in that my wife knows what I do. AMPs are my thing. Or were. Someone may be harassing her but it isn't me. I had a long time UTR that I mistakenly believed we had a truthful relationship until I realized that I was dealing with the psychology of an addict (even though I had seen hundreds of provider / addicts over the years). It manifested itself finally in a thieving mode followed by angry denial and crazy allegations. That is kind of when I knew what I was dealing with. There is only one way to deal with it and it is severance and when we as somewhat normal functioning members of society decide to go that route we will be better. All of them. Usually pretty good at lying, too. They will do anything to get the next fix. They can't "be saved," aka white knighted. The worst thing you can do is invite an addict into your home, and let them stay longer than how long you can keep full eyes on them.
