Just read the board and you will see we are the biggest contributors to this town becoming as dry as it is. White knights wanting to impress once someone is known to be very good and reasonable. Mongers falling in love, sharing screenshots of what is reported on the board. Heck most of the providers are members of the board. You're not speaking to just mongers, you're talking to the providers. The mongers here need to impress and promote their favorite so much, that this the result. If that's not the case, their mistreating them to point that they quit or go UTR. It is, what it is.
Before judging don't compare others here. If you are the level headed guy take control and bring everything under control. Don't censor people's opinion.

Time for accountability.
People will pay what is personally worth it for them, and everyone prioritizes things differently. Likewise every provider weighs what it's worth to her to do certain things, or do them at all. This is the purest example of capitalism at work, so guilt tripping mongers to "just hold out" until prices are where you'd like them simply will not work. And for reasons that aren't completely known, covid has fucked up the labor situation everywhere, and our hobby is not exempt.
A lecture in economics is not necessary we totally understand. The point he is trying to make is where our standards and imperatives should be regarding these escorts. I don't know about the rate scale he proposed, but it would definitely work to reel them in if enough of us had the balls to do it. We are the ones with the jobs bringing the income to them.
Look at 90% of these ads And how desperate they all are trying to outdo each other for our attention and money. Then, go to the pictures and look at the background instead of them. They are usually dirt poor, no furniture, with nothing else going for them. And have the nerve to say don't waste my time. That's because too many guys will crawl to them and treat them better than they treat their own wives. Half of them have an attitude when you contact them And their ads speak more on what they will not do than what they will. Nothing wrong with with capitalism when it is.
properly regulated. Bad manners, bad attitude, lack of lack of skills, Health and emotional issues combined with exorbitant rates should not be in demand. We need to run these skanks out of town or send them back to streetwalking where they normally would be.

More Deposits!
Hey all. Last night I contacted 4 different girls off LC and we worked out times, rates etc. Then without fail in all 4 instances they last thing I heard was: "I need a deposit to book the appointment".
Well guess what? 4 girls didn't make any money at all. I guess most the girls off that site are getting in on the scam.

It's always about supply and demand. But the more salient point is that no one is forcing anybody to visit these girls. They visit and pay more than usual because the supply is down (caused by regulation) and the demand is either the same or higher. That's why the economics lesson (albeit brief) is so important. There isn't a large enough block of men that can bad together and force prices down. The price has been forced up by regulation. It always is. The fallacy is thinking that capitalism is responsible for inflation and overpricing. It never is. It's always the regulation that causes it.
So not to pontificate, but I don't condemn people for their tastes or kinks. I don't detest people or "overpaying". That's on them. I have no problem with girl "A" charging $300 for sniffing her asshole and pegging some dude in a motel 6. Why? Not my money. I don't use list crawler. Doesn't mean I rail against it's existence. Let people have their things. As long as they don't use my money to do it. Is supply shitty now? Yes. But you can't blame "the market" The market is an organism outside of human control, driven by the collective activity of a society. Blame the regulation that always precedes it. FOSTA-SESTA drove a lot of the low hanging fruit higher up the tree, including the hotter ones. It created artificial scarcity, because it became less profitable to advertise and see anybody and everybody. But it's also St Louis politics. St Louis sucks for the sex trade and the reason is the billboards you see upon crossing the river. "Sin drags you down to hell" and whatnot. And don't forget about inflation driving up costs. These are all things you can blame for the St Louis scene. But none of it is organic. It was all created by some internal force seeking to makes things better.
We are both to blame and also have no control over what happens. It's a dual edge blade unfortunately. The best bet is to travel elsewhere for the talent, or adjust to the new reality.

Other outlets such as * and sites similar weren't really mainstream until the past year or so. A lot of the workers decided they could make easy money without even touching a client which has caused scarecty in the market. Even the average / cute ones you would see on the regular are all but gone. Things were drastically different before Covid on all fronts. Its less about the people who are paying and more about the drastic shift that society has gone through. Which is really out of our control. Still, at the end of the day you are correct. There is only a market if men are willing to spend money.

The more that a provider can make, the greater number of providers there will be until the demand cannot support and then prices decrease. Where the top or bottom of the market exists can't be predicted or contolled. But I hope the high end of the price graph has been reached. However. I appreciate the comments back and forth on this board to expect higher standards from people we are paying. Who's going to hold them accountable for bad behavior if we don't? Cheers.

They want a deposit and when I call them out for being scammer they say "why would I scam you out of $200 when I am going to get $400 if we meet? I always respond with "because if I pay you a $200 deposit, you get $200 for doing nothing. Why would you then take $200 for sex when you just got $200 for nothing? Inevitably the conversation ends there because they can't keep the scam after that. I have had 4 different girls send me the same 'verification' picture when I tell them I want them to prove they are actually in STL. I got the first one, a random picture of the arch from a car on PSB, and saved it. Two days later, a different account sent me the exact same picture and when I sent it back to her with a 'funny, I got that same pic two days ago' comment, she called me a scammer and blocked me.
I had the pleasure of ringing in the new year with Violetta (http://www.tallredv.com/) and I was quite happy with the experience! A very tall and lovely lady who does a great job at oral which is what works for me. I was reminded of the old Maxwell House coffee ads that said "Good to the last drop" since she definitely stays with it. If you see her because of this post you might mention that John the dog lover recommended her and perhaps I'll score some brownie points although I didn't need any on the last visit!
At that price point, I better be able to but whatever I want, wherever I want, however I want.

I say do not fall for the okie doke. Any woman posting an ad putting her body and sexual favors for sale is in a state of serious desperation. You can mull around all the economic theorems you like but if we all started taking a pass on these substandard women posing as professional escorts the market would change. Not by rationalization and acceptance.
There is no workable ratio between supply and demand if the supply is lousy. Let them keep their supply. As I stated, we are the ones with jobs, we have the money. They are the ones who have to do this for a living.

Behavioral Economics
Is hunting for sex more like buying a dream / lottery ticket than buying a car or other asset?
Behavioral economics uses an understanding of human psychology to account for why people deviate from rational action when they're making decisions. In t traditional economics (where supply-demand dominates the marketplace), a person is expected to weigh the benefits and drawbacks of an action and then choose the option in their own self-interest. Behavioral economics uses an understanding of human psychology to account for why people deviate from rational action when making decisions.
States have learned the great benefits of regressive taxation via lotteries. We all know that lotteries are not "fair game" whereby the payoffs are no where near the costs. In Missouri, tax revenues from lotteries are multiples now of what is collected from corporate income taxes (corporations have lobbyists and campaign contributions to influence elected leaders). Lottery buyers have no such powers but continue to spend much needed $s for a dream.
Ask yourself, is that dream girl, the one who never would say yes to you upon meeting in a bar / restaurant / library says yes for your $$s? Fair game based on traditional econ or more like a lottery ticket in that the little brain (not the more rational one) or your basic needs are in control?

Legit?
Seen this ad pop up now and then, someone tell me if this woman is legit or not? Thanks.

Jess
Well Jess has been in the game for awhile. I met her years ago before she moved out to Las Vegas, then she moved back to St. Louis, and then back to Las Vegas, and then back to St. Louis. Enticing Eva was another girl who moved out there too and eventually moved back.
Not sure why Jess decided to start asking for deposits but maybe it is to cut down on the time wasters and game players. Unless something drastic has changed with her recently, she's not going to rip anyone off and definitely wouldn't be blackmailing anyone. I'm sure if she feels requesting deposits isn't working for her she will change but I suspect she has a pretty good crop of regulars so it is not like she is fishing for all new guys every day she works.
If you play the game right, the chances of getting blackmailed by a provider should be pretty small.
I always use a disposable burner phone for cell contact. An app is one way or another tied to your personal phone information. Now the ordinary person may not be able to tie the app to the personal phone information but if something would really go south bad there are agencies out there that can, have, and will do it. With that said, every disposable phone has its own serial number and every carrier can trace that serial number back to the store and time it was purchased so even burner phones aren't entirely untraceable. There are just more hoops to jump through to do it.
If all you discuss in either email, text, or voice is when the provider is available, when you can match your schedule with her availability, and where either she or you are located there isn't much material around for her to blackmail anyone. Find girls who have positive reviews on multiple sites, who have advertising with rates on multiple sites, and who you are attracted to and can afford to keep company with and have a good time. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
Over the past couple of years I've reached out to her multiple times with no response. Now requiring a 50 $ deposit I'm don't even try. Being the most attractive "verified ad" on listcrawler you can bet she's making more a night just taking deposits then actually meeting anyone these days. I bet she easily gets 100 contacts a day through phone or text.
