I've had luck at Moon River recently. Twice. The second time, though, was a large Asian woman in jeans. So I haven't been back.
So, let's say Moon River is a YMMV place.
Do yourself a favor and go 100 feet further down the road to Spring Spa.

Whittier
Last week I saw that 11154 is locked up now, but they are still posting on Backpage with that address. No idea what's going on.
It's ALL Gone!
The city of Whittier has really tightened up the codes for massage. I've also found out L. A. County is starting to crack down as well. Yep, the good ol' days are gone. Looks like it's hotel rooms and apartments from now on.

Whittier
I am not sure on this, but I believe when someone places an ad there is an option to have the ad repeat at different intervals if you pay for that option.

Sky Park
Just wanted to verify if there is a crack down in the area. I read a couple of posts of mongers spotting cop cars around. I laughed when I saw the video report of United getting raided because in the background there is another parlor C and C. I've been going to Sky Park for my mongering needs for years and would have it disappear.

Back at you Cam,
I really don't know much about WEHO, West side or Downtown, however a couple of regulars I frequent that worked Whittier, HH and RH have told me that procuring a MP license in unincorporated areas of Eastern SGV has become a very problematic and expensive proposition. From what was told to me, the fees are in the thousands plus the numerous unannounced visits from code enforcement has created a very tense time for them, if they choose to to do business in store fronts. This is why the two that I frequent have moved their operations to an apartment.
One provider in RH has a sheriff for a client, who told her working out of an apartment affords extra layers of protection from that type of harassment. Seeing an utter collapse of MP's in these areas shows there's some sort of " Selective enforcement" going on here, so I have to take her at her word. I know for a fact that Whittier has really tightened up the regulations to where only communal open room massages are available and must be Licensed CMTs. The only exception Is the LMP located near the 605 Fwy, which is still in business, at least from what I see on BP.
Baggens.
Greetings Baggens. What is your source that L. A. County is cracking down anymore than the sporadic harassment as usual that we see year to year? Also, I assume you're talking about cities within the county such as Whittier, but not the city of L. A. Itself, and definitely not the city of WeHo which is saturating with FS stores. I have seen some surprising busts in modest Thai rub and tugs over the last 12 months in central L. A, but all the players are back in business with new stores continuing to proliferate all over the place.
A couple of super sweet Thai girls I know were shaken up by the experience of spending a few hours in lock-up and have switched to incall in their private apartments and some outcall. Amazingly they were targeted in a real prostitution sting with undercovers on their tables waiting to be solicited for FS, but only being offered the typical Thai handywork. I'm not happy that the bastard bacon terrorized them for the therapeutic benefits that they offer to this community, but seeing them in their apartments (or mine) where they are working only for themselves, is a nice improvement over going to the "store".
About a year ago (?) the legality of MPs in the City of Los Angeles was covered in the news when some intrepid chick reporter revealed the proliferation of AMPs in Eagle Rock. Some of those places were busted but some may have closed for no other reason that they were fly by night operations in the 1st place. Still many places operating in the area.
But the real point is that the reporting stated that the city has looser MP restrictions than some surrounding cities, and so the pendejo porkers can't do too much about it. At least as to the rub and tugs where the girls are often in compliance with looser licensing rules than other cities which require CMTs. In Los Angeles, a girl with half the hours of training needed for CMT can legally work in an MP, though perhaps she needs to demonstrate that she's working for the CMT. I'm good with that law since I like good rubs with my tugs. Ordinances and regulations like licenses and condoms on premises and zoning constitute about 99% of the basis of most MP harassment in Los Angeles. So the codes need to be rewritten by the city council to give LE more muscle locally. I haven't heard of that happening. But then again I've been working too hard to read the papers recently.
Baggens.
Makes total sense that the business would trend towards apartments and other private arrangements in the internet age as long as society at large wants to keep pretending that they are horrified by prostitution even when it is conducted behind closed doors of an MP. [As a sidebar, it is amusing to hear that the two dozen or so strip clubs of Tampa which mostly are notorious fronts for prostitution, are expecting an all time explosion in patronage from delegates to this week's GOP convention. Keeping in mind that these are the religious right / family values folks as alternate opinions are not permitted in the contemporary GOP).
So yeah, why not have the ladies all work out of apartments? Lower overhead and escape from regulations.
But no continuing or widespread crackdowns in L. A. City yet and I'd speculate maybe not going to happen as the city becomes more like its open and honest sister city SF as the years fly by. I'm guessing more MPs than ever by a large number right now in Los Angeles. I remember a really long stretch of years when it seemed like there were ZERO MP storefront options in LA (but thank goodness in those years for adjacent Inglewood and Santa Monica). The crackdown held so well that a handful of total scam operations flourished because mongers felt the desperation to try them out. A few more years go by and there's next to nothing in Inglewood and SM, and more MPs in LA than 7 Elevens.

Thanks indeed for Inglewood of old. Though I spent way too much there. I do recall trying LA parlors in the bad ol' days and it seemed I had better luck with the private incalls.
But though the private incalls often contain diamonds in the rough, the downside is it takes more effort to find the good ones. The known MP's were more of a sure thing, whereas the private incalls service seems to be all over the map. Any tips for finding the gems besides trial and error? Especially in the areas where there is so much turnover (like SG Valley) /

You know Camel, I'll bet that if you took a poll of the fellows that frequent strip joints here, you'd find most of them trend Republican!

Angel spa GG
Went to GG angel spa for first time, saw familiar face sitting behind counter, she used be at 440 fair, that ladyboy looking viet girl (possible owner or manager).
Anyway, paid her $50 for 30mins. Average looking viet girl walked into room, So I put my head down, and waited for flip. But after 30mins pass, NO sign of flip, she continuously with back massage for another 15mins, total 45mins, she stepped out to get hot towel, but she camed back said massage was over, she thought I paid for 1hr massage. I asked her for quick HJ, but she said time was UP. WTF. I will not repeat at Angel Spa.

Tustin
I tried the Massage place at the corner on McFadden, it is. 2 for an hour massage, but the setting is in a lobby with 4 beds and you might even get an an massaging you. I had an older lady do the massage. Oh well, you get what you pay for.
Happy hunting

Angel Spa
If they don't know you you won't get anything from them. Especially the owner, I have known her for years and she is friendly to me. I visit quite often sometimes buying lunch or bringing flowers. That goes a long way and the service is returned for good times.
Asian Lover.

Politics
Being an Independent for the past 15 years, I've observed from my lowly perch, that most of the pornography I've received via email attachments, have been from my die hard Republican moralist friends. You know, the church goers. The funny thing is, these folks are the first in line to have a chance at sin when those special occasions arise, such as a Bachelor party for some thriced married fellow Repub or a guys weekend away.
Of coarse, at social gatherings they'll opine about how America is on the decline because of Immoral behavior, same sex marriages and not believing in God! How they sleep at night, I'd sure like to know.

Whittier
Lifty,
So I take then, you've actually gone to the posted address of late and the doors were locked? I haven't been there for at least 3 months. The girls were nice and all. I just didn't like the tile floors producing a very echo chamberee effect. Kind of creepy knowing someone in another chamber can hear almost every sound you emit. Similar to farting in Church during a silent prayer. I sure do like their ads though!
