For a follies type of club, I am guessing that it is also cool to ask. Given all the talk of follies in the forum, I can't imagine it not being cool to ask.

I've only been to Follies for Atlanta clubs. It's a little smoky, but the girls are plentiful and most are pretty hot. Dances are pretty cheap at $10 each. You get a lot of action for that $10 most of the time, a lot more than other clubs with more expensive dances. I'm not much of a fan of the stage shows, but I'll throw a few singles out occasionally. If you want full service, I've heard VIP is $150, but I've never experienced it here. I generally bring about $300 with me, but you don't have to bring that much. $100 at Follies could be a good time. Oh, and they get busy, so earlier in the day is better. I went on a Sunday around 4 and there was a line out the door. Next time, I'll go on a weekday early afternoon.

The two you mentioned are opposite ends of the spectrum. Follies is a strip club like no other, at least in the Eastern USA I think it is best visited during the day. It is a pretty wild party, and the rules are a bit different here. The smell of weed is usually present, and mutual touching is common and frequent. I really like Follies, but hated it at first. The other club, Pink Pony, is a much milder and gentler place with little to no touching. I think Pink Pony is best visited at night, better and more dancers.

So, it depends on what you want, but given that you have been seeing escorts or backpage girls for years, I think go big. Go to Follies during the afternoon.
