I've been patronizing AMPs since the fall of 1989 when Tokyo Spa opened on High Street in downtown Hartford, and while I've had both good and bad experiences (mostly good), I can't ever recall being charged an extra fee for the table shower. Usually, the ladies want you to have the table shower (or at least a stand-up shower) as they'd much rather have you be clean for whatever activities might take place.

I'm pretty sure the extra $10 goes straight to the provider and not the house because they have to clean it up after your session and it's just extra work for them compared to guys who don't want it.
