Checked out the stretch of Alexis, telegraph, and Detroit clubs. Climax just makes me uncomfortable. Bucks Rack City and Bucks Platinum are trying to improve quality during the days but have it in the evenings. Lust really is falling off a cliff to me. They need to get their dances back in the back. I don't get dances very often but if I did it wouldn't be out in front of everyone. Lust still has the sexiest dancers though. Not too sure how long they'll stick around though because they have to be hurting from a decrease in dances. Haven't been to hush since it reopened. I'll try and make it over there at some point.
First time at Bucks Platinum
I'm not big into the clubs, but thought I'd take my first plunge into one out here.
For perspective, I've been on the East Coast (hence my handle) so I'm going to make comparisons to the few I've been to out there.
First, the club itself. I was really impressed. It was clean and in much better shape than most clubs I've been to. Also, it was so dark that you felt like you were going to trip over something. I went on a Tuesday and after a $10 cover, all drinks were only $2. Back East, you're looking at a $20 cover and don't think I've seen a $2 special in a decade. Bartender was cute and attentive, not pushing but not letting me go thirsty, either. Guy helping her was polite. The music was loud, of course, but it didn't make conversations a struggle.
Most important, the talent. Again, impressed. I'm not a fan of BBW dancers and didn't have to see any, which was great. A few had some extra weight (of course), but by and large, it was a very good-looking crew with a surprising variety. One of the dancers sidled up to me right away and we chatted a good long time. She said she didn't dance on the stage and she was true to her word the whole time she was there. She even bought me a shot (which I declined. I haven't done a shot since I was around college-aged). Eventually, I went back for a dance (two-song minimum), which was very good. Plenty of touching allowed and encouraged and she was generous with over-the-pants attention. I declined the VIP room and we went our separate ways; damage = $60 + tip which I found a bit high since that's about what it would have cost out East.
Talked to a few other girls, all very well spoken and attractive (which is a big selling point for me). They asked about dances, I declined and I got no attitude. You hardly EVER have that happen out East. You say know and you typically get chastised. East Coast attitude, I guess, but here they would actually stick around for a few more minutes. Also, dancers coming off the stage didn't make the rounds with their hand out. Again, big selling point for me (that's why they are called tips, I'll give one if I think you deserve one). Finally, A stunning brunette and a super-tight spinner spent about an hour chatting at the bar with me. Good conversation and it got the best of me. I went for the VIP lounge with both of them. Started out very hot but the limits were very clear. There would be no extras. It really wasn't all that different from the private dance. Don't get me wrong, they were extremely hot and gave it 100% but it was extremely frustrating, especially for what it cost, which I won't divulge here because, quite frankly, I'm embarrassed I shelled out that much money. I will say that if I dropped that much cash back East, I probably would have gotten MSOG and their numbers for a meet up later. At the very least, I could have had a sure thing with a higher end girl on Tryst or Eros that night.
All that being said, I will probably be back. They have my favorite beer and at $2 a shot, it's a deal. Plus I loved the scenery. I would probably do another dance to cap off the night. That would make for a reasonable result for the spend. But I will never do the VIP thing again. Not unless I was assured of something upfront. I worked every angle and it was clear that wasn't going to happen.
Anyway, that's one first-timer's experience. Would be interested if it's typical or if I'm just such a rube that I totally botched it.
