Learn's body was badly decomposed, Hayes said, and she likely had been dead for about a week. An autopsy will be performed Monday to determine the manner and cause of death.

The major case squad was called in because the circumstances are suspicious, Hayes said.

Police came to Learn's apartment about 7:45 p.m. after concerned neighbors called to say they had not seen her in a week and that her car, with windows rolled down, had not been moved during that time, Hayes said.

Learn was last seen about 7:30 p.m. April 17 at the Brooklyn, Ill., nightclub where she worked, Hayes said. She lived alone at the apartment. Neighbors did not report hearing or seeing anything suspicious, Hayes said.

Detectives found some evidence at the apartment that suggest a possible direction for their investigation, Hayes said without elaboration.

Learn, who sometimes went by the name Cheyenne, was last seen on April 21 at an aquaintance's apartment in Fairview Heights, Hayes said.

She lived alone. Neighbors did not report hearing or seeing anything suspicious, Hayes said. Detectives found some evidence at her apartment that suggests a potential direction for their investigation, Hayes said without elaborating.

Learn's husband, Michael Learn, said she had worked as an exotic dancer and had frequently abused drugs, especially methamphetamine. Michael Learn, who lives in the Peoria, Ill., area, said he and his wife had been separated for about three years.

He said he last talked to his wife, whom he calls Jo, about one month ago. She was depressed and crying, he said.

"Taking advantage of Jo was the simplest thing in the world, if you just had some drugs," Michael Learn said. "That pretty much dominated her life for the last three or four years."

She was the mother of a young child, Michael Learn said, but he said he was not the father.

Terry Learn enjoyed reading, watching movies and was a prolific writer of poetry who had earned her GED, Michael Learn said. Terry Learn, whose maiden name was Rader, grew up in Tennessee but had lived in the St. Louis area since she was about 14.

"She had a very hard life," Michael Learn said. "I'm devastated. … It's basically still sinking in at this point."

Again, investigators are now saying she died of a drug overdose.

Does anybody know if this is the same Cheyenne that worked at PT's in Sauget about five years or so ago? I think that she may have also worked at Diamond Cabaret before it became Penthouse.

The woman that I remember from Pt's and Diamond wore her glasses on stage too and looks similar to the woman in the newspaper photo.

I only knew her as a Roxy's girl who began working there within the past year. She resembled her photograph. She wore her glasses at work. She lost a noticeable amount of weight during her tenure at the club, and the other girls assumed this was due to drug use.

Here is the new article saying so. Where it says police "would not release what drugs she had been taking," the prior article would suggest methamphetamine (although it is frequently smoked or snorted rather than injected), but heroin and cocaine are certainly other options which circulate in that workplace.

BELLEVILLE -- Authorities say a 31-year-old woman found dead in her Belleville apartment Saturday had died of a drug overdose, and there was no evidence of foul play.

Police found the body of Terry Jodette "Jody" R**** in her apartment in the 700 block of Royal Heights Road, after a neighbor called 911 suspecting that she was in trouble.

Police said she had been taking drugs intravenously, but would not release what drugs she had been taking. An autopsy revealed nothing that would indicate a homicide, and her door had been locked when police arrived at the scene. Her body was badly decomposed; authorities believe she had already been dead for several days.

R**** had worked as a stripper at Roxy's in Brooklyn and had two young daughters who were living with their father. Her mother, J.T. L******, said Jody had struggled with drug abuse for more than 10 years, and had tried rehab several times without success. L****** said her daughter was planning to move back home in June and wanted to get out of exotic dancing.

She described her daughter as a beautiful girl with big eyes who used to write poetry and draw. Jody had attended Hazelwood West High School and then got her GED. She attended Florissant Valley Community College for less than a year, but dropped out around the time she started using drugs, L****** said.

Your reply was very discriptive and I agree with your findings on Harley as you all know my fellings about her.She is a pleasure to talk to and she is a very intelligent lady.Harley is very very special and a awesome experience to enjoy.

Stopped at cmowes Friday around 7 Friday night. About 5 girls workin. Went in back with summers, as I had a good fs experience w her before. I decided for BJ instead this time. BIG mistake. After about 1 min my BJ turned into HJ, so I ended up upgrading to fs. This seems to be a common problem for me, they say I take longer to get off than most guys, I don't know if its true or bs? I have not had a chance to try harley yet, because our schedules arent generally compatiable, but from what you all say she gives good BJ, correct?

I agree with what you are saying. I figure that they don't want to be back there too long but with what they are asking it shouldn't matter.

I was not too happy with the time or the service from Desiree when I was there. I am not sure if Bobbi would have been any better.

Decided to come back up to the St Louis suburban Illinois strip clubs. Had been contmeplating a trip to Cape but others indiacted that might not be a wise move.

Wiseguys- went there for the first time. They had no cover before 7. There were lots of guys, a couple of white girls and about 3X as many black girls. Was not in the bar long before what in my opinion the cutest white girl offered me a private. Name of Amber. Cost me $25. She complained a bit about how some guys coming to the place were pervs and made inappropriate suggestions to her. I took this to mean there was no chances of any extras at least from her. CMowes- my next stop. This place was almsot deserted a couple of guys and about 4 girls. Blonde girl was on stage, learned this was the Harley everyone talks about. She was better looking than the rest of them, still only a bit better than avergae looking compared to women in general. I got a grinding dance at the stage from her. She did not act like she was interested in offering me anything else.

When she was done a rather unattractive girl got on stage. I went to the bar to finish my drink. Another girl who was in street clothes starting dancing on one of the other stages. Best looker in the place. I went to that stage and she got off. Said she was not a dancer, she once had been but she was now retired and was just visiting her friends. By this time the unattractive girl was off stage and started bugging me for a tip, interupting my conversation with the retired gal who quickly went back to her friends. She seemed rather annoyed I did not want to give her money as a tip for a dance I was not really watching. Decided to leave. Next stop..

Blondies- Again almost deserted. There were a couple of cop cars in the parking lot. A couple of really ugly girls were there along with Kia who I had seen before. She acted like she did not remember me. For those of you who don;t want to find my last report she is blonde a bit on the thick side with really nice big tits. I would guess her age as alte 20s. I wound up going in the back with her and I think by the time we were done she said she did remember I had spent quality time with her a couple of weeks before. She acted like she might not be around real long, said she was from New Jersey. When i was leaving noticed a SUV with NJ plates on it. So she has not as of yet made the move to Illinois a permanant one.

Chuck, at C-Mowes the girls do a "tip walk", its just the customary thing for that bar. It's annoying but it is considered an insult if you don't at least give the girl a dollar. They used to do the same thing at the Chameleon Club, don't think there are any clubs in the area besides C-Mowes that still does it. Usually if you play it right you can get a little grope or two as you give her the dollar.

A lot of the Dollies girls will do a tip walk, but not as aggressively as at C-Mowes.

Chuck, If you didn't go to C-Mowes on Tuesday last week then the girl you seen, wasn't really Harley. I know that she took all week off except Tuesday. There is other girls there that will say they are Harley to anyone that would walk in and ask about her and say they never seen her. I've heard that Summers is really known for that. If you have any doubts just look at the pictures I put in here of the "Real" Harley. Harley will be in Monday. Thursday this week though. I'm sure I'll be there at least once this week to see her. I've heard Summers gives really, really bad bjs too. I know she doesn't let anyone cum in her mouth! All bjs from her are really hjs. With just a little sucking at the beginning.

Had a similar experience with Summers. I upgraded and had a nice time for a very reasonable price.

Well, after spending the morning lusting after the sister-in-law, I decided to get the edge off and hit the East side.

There wasn't much action in nearby Centreville, and the ISP were out thick in that neighborhood. (at least 10 cars sitting in the area) PT's and Crystal Palace were kinda slow. There's a new sports-bar type restaurant supposedly opening in June next to Crystal Palace. (they claim it'll be like Hooters or ShowMe's)

Anywho. Ventured onto greener pastures in Washington Park. Headed to Dollies. One of the black gals was trying to hustle any guy in the place for a private dance. She had okay tits, but seemed a little on the unclean side. Several guys left since the place wasn't hopping too much. (no one dancing, maybe 4-5 gals up by the bar, talking to guys) Left there and headed to the new C-Mowes place. I hadn't been there for like 6 or 7 years since it was in the old place. Sat down with her for Harley's stage dance and talked about what I wanted. She's one of the few gals I've seen working with some fur on her. Nice. I have been told, by someone who is reliable but not privy to any toxicology or autopsy results, that the substance was heroin.
