Like most things consumed, worth is subjective. As the buyer, you determine the value of the encounter. If you prefer QV's or HHR's, you are not looking for a quality encounter, and prefer hop on, hop off. And that is OK because it's your gold! The HR or longer time provider that wants a higher price delivers typically an overall better experience (most of the time). They have better interpersonal skills, dress better and deliver a better performance, brush their teeth, shower, etc.
Bottom line, you shop where where you can afford. The difference between a decent BP provider and a provider that offers solid or outstanding services on the better sites starts anywhere from $75 and above comparably. And they are somewhat safer too. That just happens to be the reality.

I think Gordo is correct and "deserve" may not be the correct word. Just an observation. BP is more of finding a diamond in the rough in my opinion.

And just as there are no guarantees of a good experience with a "typical" BP provider, the same holds true for some of the providers posting on the other mainstream sites. However, IN MY EXPERIENCE, and I repeat. MY EXPERIENCES, the risk has been much less on walking into bad dates. if and when adequate homework is done on the desire provider (s). For most of the reputable providers NOT advertising on BP (and several who do advertise on BP) pretty much all you need to know about them, their availability, the quality of their services and their donation ranges are clearly spelled out for me / us to make a decision as to whether or not to call them. Some of them may come at a higher donation than the run of the mill BP poster, but the risks may be lowered - at least they have been for me
- If the services are NOT in line with what I'm interested in. Don't call.
- If the providers photos are not real or several reviewers have commented on bad service or attitude problems. Don't call.
- And most importantly, if the donation range does NOT fit either the level of performance or the budget that one would like to spend for a given provider. Then, the decision should probably be not to call this or any other provider who is not in a desired price range. Just because I'm not interested in her or because I DON'T WANT TO pay her requested donation, does not mean she can't or should not get it from someone else. We all "value" the hobby and the services received in our own way.
I've been in this hobby for A LONG TIME and I HAVE NEVER relied on Backpage providers to set the market or determe what I will or will not contribute to providers who appeal to me.

All is good, as it is personal perspective. Each monger has an objective in interaction. As long as you get a resemblance of what you seek it is worth the adventure. Whether 10 minutes or several days. All here are scratching an itch that isn't being scratched elsewhere.

I am back now and what I have noticed is that 999 out of 1000 ladies on BP do not interest me. I don't recall that being the case two years ago. Of course, you tend to remember the good alot longer than the bad. Had a wise old guy tell me that this hobby is a lot like fishing. Some like to throw their rod in the back of their car and fish for 15 minutes on the way home every day and others like to fish offshore for trophies the whole day once every couple of months when time permits. At the end of the day, its just fishing.
