Was passing through BC on Saturday evening heading back west from Detroit. I was heading past Kalamazoo, so BC wasn't my final destination. I'd had a disappointing stay in Detroit as far as the hobby goes, so I was hoping for some fun in BC on my way home. I'd wanted to see Sienna when the initial reports were good, but had held off as reports of ghosting and other issues arose. Still, recent report seemed like she was trying to make amends. I was unsure if I'd have time to stop, but when I was about an hour away I decided to give Sienna a shot. I tried calling instead of texting since I was only about an hour away and thought calling might be quicker to set something up. I'd pulled over for a few minutes to get gas and coffee, so I called and got VM which said to text. As I was trying to hang up to text, I accidentally redialed. Tried to disconnect ASAP, but the call went through before I could. She texted me and said she was on the phone and "What's up?" I apologized for calling twice and explained that I was hoping to see her and knew it was short notice but wondered if she'd be available around 4 (about an hour later). I waited for a bit to see if she replied. I didn't get a reply and got back on the road. As I drove, I glanced at my phone a few times (I know, I know--if I'd gotten a message I was going to exit and stop before responding--just quickly checking to see if she replied). I didn't get a reply, which was no big deal. I knew it was incredibly short notice on a Saturday, so it might not work out. Then, when I was past BC and almost to Kalamazoo, I got several texts from her at once. She'd sent them separately, but they didn't come through as she sent them and then all of sudden, I had 3 or 4 texts. So I pulled in a gas station and read them. She had indeed texted me back, but I hadn't gotten the text when she sent it. She said she could do 4 PM. Then she texted back and wanted to know why I had called her twice if I wasn't even going to bother texting her back, etc. She claimed she had cancelled another appointment to see me. I'm not sure why she would've done that. We've never met and I'm nobody to her so it seemed suspect to me that she would've cancelled an appointment to see me instead. I texted her back and apologized for the mix up, but explained to her that I hadn't gotten her texts as she sent them, but had gotten them all at once. So, from my vantage point, it looked like she hadn't texted me back. I told her I'd love to see her but I was past BC by then and really didn't have the flexibility at that point to turn around and head back (and it would've been around 5 before I could've made it there by then). I told her that I'd love to see her and hoped we could reschedule properly when I could give her more advance notice. So, I made an effort to apologize to her and I tried to explain the situation. But instead of being understanding and chalking it up to just one of those things that happens, she got attitude and called me "a waste of her time. " Granted, I could've planned my trip back better, decided sooner what I was doing and tried to get with her earlier in the day to schedule something. But my day didn't play out as expected and I didn't know when I'd be coming through BC and how much time I'd have until shortly before I texted her. And I have no idea why her texts didn't come through. I was driving, there was lots of construction, perhaps interference, who knows? But the fact that she responded that way really irritated me. I responded and pointed out to her that for someone who'd started out so well and yet gained a reputation for poor comms and ghosting clients, I would've thought she'd be more understanding of communication issues. I told her I'd been planning to pass on seeing her because of bad reports, but in light of recent reports wanted to give her the benefit of a doubt. But with that attitude, I think I dodged a bullet. I don't doubt the positive reports of some mongers on here. She was trained by Milan, so she knows what to do I'm sure. But there are just too many good providers out there IMO to deal with someone like that. So, I'll pass. As always, YMMV. Just wanted to pass along this cautionary tale for those considering seeing her. --RJ.

After a few misses, I was finally able to see Sienna; Wow. What an amazing lady. For all of you who've made the acquaintance, I can understand why you talk highly of her. While I didn't need to hear her profusely apologizing for her communication challenges, we did agree to put that behind us and to start fresh.
The ambiance of her studio was refreshing and made me feel comfortable and relaxed. With scented candles lit and quaint music, you can tell she has been trained well. Her work on my back, legs and arms was soothing and it felt as if she was working out those gym kinks that have lacked being stretched.
With the past communication issues behind us and those others coming on the scene, will I go back and visit her. Absolutely! I think her youthfulness is unlike anything in the area and for that (and her skill sets), I'll gladly visit when I'm in the area.

I finally got around to seeing Penny and have to say I wasn't really impressed with the experience.
She was good don't get me wrong, my expectations were higher but it was equivalent to several times I have had with Michelle (tricked by her both times by the way, saying she was someone else).
I know everyone has there own opinions and I get that, everyone raved about Jay and I had 2 not great experiences and never went back to see her.

I am close (back to 1st week open) with the owner, but I'm feeling that the usual amp "Transfer" situation is currently happening.
Here's how it goes. A new owner, in this case Michelle, takes over a spa paying over time & w / money down.
Like a land contract for a biz.
Sometimes the buying owner works it, sometimes not.
In this case, orig owner seems to be having Michelle take it over.
So, there's really nothing she can do.
Having sensed this, is why I've spoken directly to Michelle.
She denies, so it's on her & yes she'll suffer over time.
It's on Michelle & this is why IMO.
When her talent is top notch, then some will go & those others will not.
If Michelle blows it w / this B S, then orig owner will take it back for non-payment.
Till then- it simply is what it is.
Up to each member how it's worked for them.
This just an educated guess, explanation & FYI.

I like to think I'm able to admit when I'm wrong or when I've misjudged someone. And that's what I'm doing now. If you read this forum regularly, you may remember that I had a somewhat negative experience with Sienna a few days ago. I say "experience" rather than "review" because I hadn't seen her at that point. That was the issue. I'd tried to set something up, admittedly somewhat last minute, and we had some communication issues with texts not coming through when sent then all coming through at once, which I think gave Sienna a negative impression of me. I felt like I tried to explain and her response to me seemed like she had a bad attitude. However, after posting about my experience on this forum, she reached out via PM and we continued to talk a bit. I assured her I had nothing against her personally, but just wanted to give the guys on the forum a report of my experience. But we both agreed we'd gotten off on the wrong foot and it was worth giving it another shot. And I have to say, I'm really, glad we did. I saw her yesterday and she delivered. A very cool, very sweet lady. No issues with comms this time. Good massage and really good experience. Also, I believe she was very sincere in what she said. I know she's had some bad reviews and, while I sort of was chalking it up to someone who started well, but for whatever reason began to falter (anyone who's been around a bit has seen that happen to more than a few good ones). But she has stated that she went through a bad spell and after having met her and seen her, I think she probably did. She seems to want to restore trust and friendship with the men of BC. So, if you've been on the bubble about seeing her, I can't tell you what to do--but I can say that I'm very glad I gave it another shot. Glad it worked out for you, good on you for posting and admitting / relaying / updating your experience. Have had to do that myself before also. It can be easy to forget sometimes the ladies have lives and all the things that go on in lives that make life hard just like anyone else. Can't be easy to have things in their lives that are emotionally tough and have to be up close and personal for work. The business side makes it easy to think it should be simple, but it's so much more of a personal transaction that it's not. I'm all for granting some extra courtesy of understanding to them and extra time before posting negatively. It always helps the experience for both of us to maintain diplomacy and we all want to enjoy our time. Have to tell myself this now and then even after all these years.
