I like to know why the body guard -cop seems to get no wrath. Why he allowed to retire with full benefits and sweet pension? No desipline or charges? Dude was screwing and breaking every rule. If cop was on duty caught screwing at wafflehouse he be fired. This guy was worse. Trusted to do a job. He violated it and should be fired and busted in rank. I couldn't care less who she fucks. But to ask the taxpayers to pay the guy overtime to fuck her is criminal. Plus it's not exactly a compliment to her that she had to pay a guy an extra $80 k or whatever it was to fuck her. Damn can't you find any dick for free?

1) The body politic was fully aware of the fact that Boner was separated from his then-wife and had been residing in a seperate domicile for a measurable amount of time. Barry was (and still is, to a degree) portraying herself as a faithful wife existing within the normally accepted parameters of serial monogamy.
2) Boner's paramour was an openly acknowledged entity. Barry's involvements were based on deceptions and outright lies; clearly self-serving maneuvers with fraudulent intent.
3). The individual involved with Boner was nothing more than an aspiring country music singer, one of thousands here in Nashville. Her method of generating income had no relation to city government. Barry's lover was not only an employee of the city, but a member of law enforcement with all of the antecedent empowerment thereof. His income, which included excessive amounts of overtime pay, was entirely funded by the taxpaying citizens of Nashville.
4) Boner"s activities did not involve extended periods of international travel which were portrayed (and funded) as official governmental business. Prior to Barry, no Nashville mayor had ever required a "bodyguard" during out-of-city business trips. Her attempts to portray herself as a vulnerable female alone in the big bad world are patently absurd; she never traveled without an entourage of at least six other people including a publicist, a personal assistant and various other sycophants.
There are many other points of contention but I will stop here. I will however suggest that anyone with pertinent connections ask around about Megan Barry's time as a graduate student at Owen School of Business.
