Got replies back from 2 emails I sent, one gives me a 800 number located in Maryland. Both refer me to sites that "only charge a dollar" to check me out to see if I'm a cop (how??) or a registered sex offender (I'm not) before they'll give further contact info. It's for their safety they both say.

Both want a credit card or bank number to charge "only one dollar". I don't give my real name when I take someone out of a bar. Give them my CC/bank number??? Are they nutz?

Has anyone done this? It's not for me.

I always assume "scam" whenever a RI provider seems worried that I'm a cop. Why would it matter if I'm a cop? We're not doing anything illegal. Two adults exchanging money for sex indoors are not breaking any law in RI. And every legit provider knows that full well.
