Massage Parlor Reports

So as I was flipping through Facebook yesterday and post popped up about Asian Massage Parlors. As I clicked on it, turns out there is a Facebook group dedicated to watching / spying / and reporting on fellow mongers. After looking through their FB page, apparently they will choose a massage parlor to hangout at. Then fly a drone and wait for people to exit. They continue to record them walking out, sometimes take a face pic or get the license plate number or both, take pictures of their vehicle, and them blast them on the Facebook page. So if you have seen a drone above you while walking out of a parlor, changes are your on this site.

The FB group is called, "Busted: Vancouver Parlor Patrol" or [URL]https://www.facebook.com/parlorpatrol[/URL] and looks as if they are primarily in Vancouver, but they do venture out to Portland and even Salem. I never knew there was such a site and I am sure many others are also unaware. Stay alert out there.

Checked it out without logging in, yeah looks they venture out into the PDX metro from time to time. Only a matter of time until they meet that one monger that escalates things and takes down that drone and / or that operator.

On google maps. If you scroll back in your timeline. All the places you go has been recorded and any one could see where you have gone. You can opt out of that by turning off your tracking in settings. While handy. If a significant other was searching your phone. You might have some explaining to do why you were parked at an AMP for half an our or an hour.

Off to the AMPs this weekend. I have a back up. Oh to decide which one to visit So many so little time.

As for the other place. Your in public and I believe there is no law to protect you from getting videoed leaving an AMP. It would be fun to take down the drone though. Nice strange FB post. I wonder what made him or her so mad to set up and go to all the work to do that. Must of not gotten his happy ending. , and wants to save the world. You would think there are more productive things to do with your time and money. Like go protest on a college campus. LOL. Long live America. Sing the national anthem.

I have not visited a bunch of AMPs in the SE side of town in a while. So many break ins on cars. No safe place to park around SE much. I will read the reviews and see what is the current best place.

Where they'd probably get in trouble is operating the drone over a public lot and moving vehicles, both for safety and harassment issues.

Many drones have an auto-landing feature if it loses connection with the operator or is low on battery, so a hunk of metal and plastic dropping out of the sky into a busy roadway is likely to snarl up traffic or cause an accident.

As for harassment, you can be trespassed if told to leave by the store owners, not to mention it would be interfering with their business by scaring off customers, both of the parlor and surrounding stores. There's also a couple bills proposed last year dealing with harassment of individuals.

I was at zen foot in Beaverton, Leah gives an excellent massage giving the pressure you want, she also gives the best prostrate massage in town. When I was there I saw a new girl. She looks younger. I will try her next time.

Get the "Drone Scanner" app for your phone. It can tell you who and what drone is in the area. The only exception is play drones and DJI mini that weight less than 1/2 pound. All others are required to transmit location and FAA Remote I'd number. They could fly without a transmitter but the fine if caught is very high.

They can be somewhat difficult to spot, especially if they're high up.

Edit: Now that I think about it, its highly unlikely person just has a drone loitering. Battery only lasts 30min, so a 4 hour recon would be 8 batteries. If I were to guess, it'd be far more efficient to have someone spot directly in line of sight of the store door, wait for someone to go in, wait maybe 10-15 min, then start the loitering. So I don't think you'd see any drone loitering until you're being tailed.

Its interesting how a place can go from No extra services, or a do it yours self place, to a FS place in months.

Went to the place in Aloha. Near the Dr Feelgoods pub. By the water store. Had a nice massage. Left happy. Actually her massage was great. I was stiff and sore from work. Not used to this physical stuff. Heavy lifting. But she did a good job.

Doing a search on google the only video I could find from this FB page was shot using a DSLR camera from a parked car in close range or using a zoom lens. Shooting with a DSLR and a powerful zoom lens makes much more sense.

The DJI mini pro 3/4 has a decent camera and is under 249 g. To be clear, with those shots, the drones aren't loitering at max altitude.

It would be funny if someone else had a drone follows that person's drone to see who they are.

Be safe and keep your head on a swivel.
