She creates new profile every now and then, hits up dudes, chats a bit and then says she is ready to meet at Fife for breakfast / lunch. Then in the morning of will ask for meet and greet fee. There are a few posts about her here, and she comes to this board and posts as well.

But they are all vulnerable to blackmail and coercion and just in general being fucked with. And there are a lot of guys out there who seriously get off on fucking with girls heads. More than actually fucking them sometimes.

The inference is that this is a common thing and going by the numbers it probably pays off enough to be profitable for the scumbags. Sure, it's 2024 and most of us are savvy enough to recognize sketchy shit when we see it but I still get spam emails, phishing texts, etc. The scammers only need to succeed a small percentage of the time to make it worthwhile. They are just shotgunning looking for that person in a bad or desperate place, or someone too stupid or naive to figure it out.
I consider myself highly savvy and have been in and around the infosec world for decades but even I've gotten taken once (for a small crypto wallet) just because I had a moment of weakness and allowed myself to get confused. It happens. So that scam you think might only have worked a decade ago still has enough of a success rate that it's being done today.

Fact is we are better at protecting our privacy and security than we have ever been. And the scammers (especially Russian, Indian and Chinese) are getting more savvy in the way they attack us to for to voluntarily give up our information. Maybe not directly, but we do. For Gods sake. Jeff Bezos was conned by a phishing incident a few years ago using an Israeli app deployed by the Saudis. The truth is everything about you is there for the taking it is just about how "badly" someone wants to take it from you. These are not conspiracy theories. They are facts.

When I asked Rose from my report below, why she ended up meeting me, who did not mention arrangement amount beforehand instead of the guys who explicitly offered over $1000, she said because either they gave her creepy vibes or the meeting plans for one reason or another never materialized. So to some degree they know there is something fishy about those offers, but since they validate their self sense of worth, they chose to ignore the red flag and fly with the idea that those amounts are the ones that they deserve.
