I've seen the idea he noted more widely used by hobbyists in some of the other USASG city forums. And every so often, I used to see it done here or in Charleston, Charlotte or Greenville. It's just hit or miss when it's been done and who's chosen to do it that way.

I don't consider all dead links as red flags as many others might. There are a few cases were the old ad was either voluntarily or involuntarily deleted.

1. Several reputable and reviewed providers (locally and as those who travel) often create new ads and delete the old ad (s) for their own reasons. This is often the case with many providers I personally know (local and providers in other cities) who delete their ads when they leave a particular city or when they are not going to be available for a while (whether a day or several days.) These are well respected and well reviewed providers who consistently follow this practice. And Backpage is not the only site for which these providers will do this. If this option is allowed on other sites, then they delete or edit the ads accordingly.

2. Many of you gents already know the games that Backpage play with many of these providers with their own internal creation of fake ads. But that's another story. Backpage also has been deleting ads for many of the ladies posting. And many have been frustrated because their ads were deleted but no explanation (s) were provided. There, all that's left is a trail of new ads to replace those deleted by Backpage.

3. Providers make mistakes. It is not uncommon for providers to browse other cities around the country and forget to confirm the city they select when they post their own ad (s). This is something that I recognize a lot and know providers who's pissed off (with themselves) because they wasted money posting in the wrong city and ultimately end up deleting the post that was made in error. I've also recognized when providers made mistakes posting in the wrong section (posting in the massage section instead of the escort section) and later deleting the ad to post in the correct section. This is yet another trail that leads to newly created ads and dead links from the ones deleted.

So, to be fair to the number of reputable and reviewed providers who have their posts deleted in the ways noted above, I would say that not all deleted posts sends up a red flag with me. YMMV as with everything else in this hobby. It all depends on the provider or wannabe provider, whichever is the case.

I've been able to successfully GOOGLE many of the dead links to get to the information I was interested in. And in some cases, the results were favorable.

Dead links can be researched just as you would names and numbers.

Providers may have good reasons for deleting their ads, e. G. Being in town for only a few days. Eve, one of my ATFs who is well known to many members of this forum and is an excellent provider, usually deletes her ads after a day or two. Why? Because she is in town for only a few days. I think the same might be said for Pristine Chase, who has been favorably reviewed on this board. So it's best not to make sweeping generalizations.

1. Several reputable and reviewed providers (locally and as those who travel) often create new ads and delete the old ad (s) for their own reasons. This is often the case with many providers I personally know (local and providers in other cities) who delete their ads when they leave a particular city or when they are not going to be available for a while (whether a day or several days.) These are well respected and well reviewed providers who consistently follow this practice. And Backpage is not the only site for which these providers will do this. If this option is allowed on other sites, then they delete or edit the ads accordingly.

2. Many of you gents already know the games that Backpage play with many of these providers with their own internal creation of fake ads. But that's another story. Backpage also has been deleting ads for many of the ladies posting. And many have been frustrated because their ads were deleted but no explanation (s) were provided. There, all that's left is a trail of new ads to replace those deleted by Backpage.

3. Providers make mistakes. It is not uncommon for providers to browse other cities around the country and forget to confirm the city they select when they post their own ad (s). This is something that I recognize a lot and know providers who's pissed off (with themselves) because they wasted money posting in the wrong city and ultimately end up deleting the post that was made in error. I've also recognized when providers made mistakes posting in the wrong section (posting in the massage section instead of the escort section) and later deleting the ad to post in the correct section. This is yet another trail that leads to newly created ads and dead links from the ones deleted.

So, to be fair to the number of reputable and reviewed providers who have their posts deleted in the ways noted above, I would say that not all deleted posts sends up a red flag with me. YMMV as with everything else in this hobby. It all depends on the provider or wannabe provider, whichever is the case.

I've been able to successfully GOOGLE many of the dead links to get to the information I was interested in. And in some cases, the results were favorable.

Dead links can be researched just as you would names and numbers.
