High bail for all of them. In court yesterday judge kept bail high which is unusual in those cases.

Not sure how many other convictions they each have, but this appears a way to keep a bunch of girls off the street and locked up for 6 months or so before they take probation or get a discharge. Almost as much as someone might get for laundering hundreds of millions thru Russian banks and then flipping, or other white collar crimes defrauding or otherwise screwing hundreds of innocent people.

I'm not sure why people are making a big fuss about this bust, it's the same cycle, girls will be back on the streets and it's just repeat itself.

As long as there are drug dealers in the neigborhood and drug addicts will come and the girls will work.

In this case LE put high bail amounts on 8 of them. The 9th was a fugative.

Most did not have past histories. What usually happens is the next day they get in front of a judge who reduces the bail to WPTA.

In this case the judge kept or increased the bail. In past sweeps most were back on the street the same or next day. Not so last Wed.

I thought that was a case of resident backlash.

But it's pretty useless and just a waste of money. There has been busts in the past and this never goes away and cycle just repeat itself.

I do realize that the girls who end up on the streets only get there because they've run out of all other options, and mug-shot day is definitely not the definition of a "good day. Their one great skill is that they are great liars / actors / manipulators.
