I drove out to the hotel and upon arrival I call and she says that she's in the process of getting her own room since she's sharing one with her Girlfriend and the girlfriend has a date coming over. Didn't think much of it because that tends to happen so I parked and waited. After 10 minutes I call to get a status update and an older woman does answer and now says she's short on her card and for me to just put donation on a greendot or MoneyPak card so she can book the room and we meet up in lobby to exchange. I've done something similar in NY and didn't think twice. I would almost be willing to bet my life savings IF she has ever been to Memphis it has been a LONG time. She has pulled the same or very similar scam all over the place, Tupelo, the Gulf coast, no telling where else. I highly doubt she is even the girl in the pics. I called her out years ago on her scam and she got so mad. Oddly enough, I have a different number and when I call or text her she never responds. I just want to mess with her. I will hand it to her, she is awfully convincing. I can see how a less experienced person might fall for her bullshit. We have to remember, if they won't accept cash in hand, very likely they are NOT legit. Deposits, gift cards and the such are a scam.
