Too bad too because she was a nice lady and gave good massage. Saw her a couple of times and actually thought about stopping in right before the holidays.

Super Bowl Sunday night? Probably a good time to let the crew have some time off. I've visited spas during Super Bowls in the past and they were quiet.

Stopped by today, coming up 15 around lunch time. Had time between appointments. Never thought to call. Open light off, no cars in the lot and no answer when I called. I kind of thought that maybe they had a rough night. Everybody coming home from parties, drinking, etc. I imagine late night, the AMP's must get a ton of traffic.
Apparently it's closed for renovation. Not sure how long that's going to take or what they're doing.
Any word on if the place behind DD has re-opened?

Hats off, heads bowed, moment of silence for quiet reflection.) when they had a new central air system being installed. It was one of my first week-day lunch break visits. I could hear them walking above, talking, working and when the action with my companion started, I am SURE they could her, um, working or rather, getting worked. A buddy of mine is an electrician whose boss sent him and another guy to Magic. He'd never been to an AMP, quickly figured out what it was, went back and the mama waived the house fee. There was some kind of general 'trade agreement' with his boss, who was apparently a regular. Does anybody remember if SunStar closed down when they combined the upstairs tattoo shop years ago?
This place shuts down annually for anywhere from 3-6 weeks. I don't know why but it's been this way for at least the last 5 years and it's always around this time.

The New Haven LE have to do a thorough 'investigation' which takes several months to complete as they have no other pressing problems. When they are about to close the place down, management knows the hammer is about to drop and everyone goes on vacation and new staff returns in a few months requiring several more months of intense investigation. Just my theory.
