Good AMP's wont touch your stuff
Never bring any IDs with you. Read once that some one left the room to shower and the girl took his cash and his credit card. He didn't relized it until later in the day. Do not trust any of them.
As it was posted, the AMP gives you a clear case for your wallet/valuables.I think the advice "take what you intend to spend" is good common sense.
I had an experience I posted last summer from an experience in the past from Natick, I learned to watch my funds closer, but it hasnt created any paranoia, just common sense.
I think I would be more paranoid about someone I know driving by an AMP when I was entering/leaving.

It has the same older women (mid-40s?) from the "China Back Rub" that closed in Natick. One is petite, the other a defensive lineman. I always avoid the bigger lady. The massage is very good. The finish was also very good. She has to be extremely comfortable with you if you are to leave happy. The fee and tip were the same as similar places (60 + 40).
I was talking about the accupressure massage in downtown needham. I've been to the natick place. I never take more $ than what I expect to spend.
I literally went to the ATM before going to this place in Natick. And 60 dollars was taken from my pockets while I was being massaged face down. Of course all denied the $ being taken. And it was simply my word against theirs'
I was wondering about the recently advertised AMP on highland Ave.
Coming in from out of town -
got an address? Near the Midas doesn't help me much. TIA
AAMPs are all sketchy; AMPs are not necessarily
Located in a condo complex I thought it was all a little to sketchy but as mongering goes it is all sketchy.
AAMP are at best sketchy and too often horrible situations for everyone involved expect the mafioso pocketing the money.
AMPs are usually run by entrepreneurs looking for repeat business; AAMPs are hit-and-run operations. Both may rotate out the girls, but the legit AMPs (such as Angel's) don't.
I would stay the hell away from AAMPs. There may be some run by entrepreneurial women doing massage out of their own apartments, but I have not experienced anything that is anything but sketchy when associated with an AAMP.
And if someone is doing something out of an apartment or condo, it is ripe for a bust because neighboring tenants are going to complain and/or call LE
A place with a legitimate storefront doing naughty things behind closed doors is not necessarily going to be sketchy and will most likely be very focused on customer service (or they will have already been ratted out on this board). A place doing it out of a private residence is just looking to separate you from your money as fast as possible.
BTW - to concur with the comment below, I hope to God you didn't pay $270 for a handjob????
