I've had a few rare finds on JMW & they all had coochies. The TS dudes are usually on 7th & Hoover. There might be a bar or club for them around there, but my experience is that JMW is safe. They would give new meaning to the street name if they migrated.

Most of the time they are so freaking obvious its not a big deal. I still found James Wood to be a worth while place to cruise because like Bladerunner said you would get the rare find that would make your entire week.
Alot of good memories from there.
Do any of you guys know Pam the brunette that calles herself "black widow"? I just checked and her number is still good and she was always a good time. My balls were always empty after seeing her.

What happened to the Shop Girls that stood out in front of the shops on Alvarado between James M Wood and Seventh? I've been looking for them for the past 2 weeks and they are no where to be found. Is there another place I don't know about near Downtown that they stand out in front of?

I asked on of the shops that I know on Alvarado and asked him where the shop girls had gone. He told me that there was a sting a while back by LAPD. It was a undercover operation and he said they got at least 15 girls. I did nto even know that there are 15 girls that stand there. Usually I only see a few.

If mongers on here knew, then Rampart knew. They used to have a few girls out at a time and they looked like shop employees, but they started to put too many out there. LAPD did a sweep of several tracks leading up to the Memorial Day weekend roundup. Like everywhere else, it became a bit too in your face for LE. IMO.

It's when the businesses start complaining and too much drug and gang activity pops up they sweep and start all over. LE on bikes just sitting across the street at MacArthur Park, hitting walkers on don't walk signs, left turners on no left turn, yes they chase them down on bicycles and ticket. Area is very hot and always has been. Shop girls are smarter than you think they're hiding out and coming out when it's clear or during shift change. Good time for a vacation. Sat out today between 9:30. 11:30 this morning. Gals are walking and stopping to talk and keep on walking.

However, LE is more reactive than proactive in Los Angeles area, basically because there is so many more high priority crimes taking place, not to mention the overcrowded jail system. These boards have been very helpful to me, in locating awesome providers and I'm sure LE follows up on all the boards when manpower allows, or when businesses complain, or when drug and gang crimes increase in the area. Reading the LA Times yesterday, Cheif Beck says he'll have send Officers home if their budget is not approved.
The boards also let other hobbyist avoid ripoffs and dangerous situations and areas. What I like to do is find a nice regular and stay out of the MP and SW scene when possible. Recently lost a good regular, but I think I found a couple replacements, that's the chance we all take. I for one will see my regulars and setup meets away from hot spots and even meet at their second home, or notels. We all are aware of the risks involved, just use good judgment.
At the same time providers are advertising multiple times per day, everyday on BP, CV, HX, EROS, etc, again that's the chance they take. If LE were to crack down all they have to do is start on BP, right? I personally think they prefer us hobbyist to use BP, out of sight out of mind, so long as no violent crimes aren linked to the sites, like what happened with CL. Just my personal thoughts.

Sorry for the rookie question, I never been to this track, just drove down JMW once or twice.
What is the official track for JMW (even though it seems fickle) is it JMW and Alvarado basically going up or down a mile either way?
Best time of day / days for this track? Ie. Day or night track.

From my experience it's JMW, Alvarado. 8th, Union. That box is where I've seen & picked up SWs. I once picked up a WSW of Greek descent named Sophie on Olympic near the 7-11 at night.
Amusing story, I almost got busted trying to pick up a LSW one night. I saw her on JMW, so I turned into a side street to wait for her. I looked in my rear view mirror & a B&W was sitting in the middle of the block behind me with his lights off. I kept moving & he started rolling towards me. He ended up jumping on her. I don't think she was a decoy, my guess is they were on to her.
So to summarize: the box of streets I mentioned during the day, widen it a bit at night. I'm sure there are other mongers that might have even better info.

I had a good scare on LBB, where 5-0 actually got me, but not in any act nor was she in my car. I literally cat / moused with this BW for 15mins. I left then came back, flagged her to a side street (just literally to get her digits) and head out as the BW was on both us of hard. He was flying through alleys and doing U turns, I was watching him from parked positions and out of his view and he was on this LSW like glue.
But it was almost worth it, she looked 20 if that, wearing pink p. E. Shorts with a huge brazilian type ass, wifebeater and sandals. I got her digits from window open and just as I got the last 4 numbers this guy flew up the side street from a good ways away and stopped us. I didn't do shit! I was only getting her number.
But still, the heat there was too much. Going to avoid it for while. Not sure why still, he was so hard to get this girl, it's like he was not paying attention to anything but where she crossed and went, full mission.
Is this track hot? Other than normal watch your surroundings?
