I usually only do that to profiles like HangingBalls but obviously there is no way to find common ground. Regarding his last post I read before putting him on the ignore list: I have a theory that if even if he was given access and allowed to count the votes himself when coming up with a total that he didn't like he would just claim that the "real" votes were hidden from him. Or somehow the votes were changed secretly.

If Americans are not able to place trust in institutions that have historically held that trust then the divide will widen. It started out on a small scale (think Sandy Hook) and now it's to the point where many believe there is a great "X-Files" (a 90's tv show) conspiracy going on at the upper levels of government. It is a sad day.

Of course the root causes of racial violence tends to vary because the fear or hatred that fuels it is caused by different things. The hatred against Irish and Italian immigrants, Chinese immigrants, blacks, Muslims, Jews, etc. Are all fueled by different types of stereotypes, misinformation, and cultural forces that are unique to that dynamics with that group. But don't worry about all of that. Racial violence is bad and its own category of problem. We're good.
