Orient Road is hit or miss during the day. At night, there are usually a few walkers out. I realize there have been recent reports of increased activity, but I haven't seen it.
The area around the little convenience store can be quite dangerous after dark. It's known for a lot of drug activity and even during the day, there are some rough characters lurking about. As always, be careful!
Broadway from RT 41 to Orient Road can show a few walkers day and night. There has been a good amount of LEO / stings on this section of Broadway, as there are a lot of side streets where the cops can hide while the decoy walks on Broadway. There are ZERO good looking walkers in this area, and if you see one, you can be sure it is a decoy.
Gibsonton has walkers on RT 41 almost every time I drive through there, which is usually every day in the afternoon. The bad news is that most of them are either quite old and physically shot, or they are younger and totally "cracked out" or strung out on some other shit. Every now and then, you can spot a new one, most likely a visitor to the area, but in my experience, not often.
There's a lot of police presence in this area day and night.

To my knowledge there is very little sting activity around this area. Just because it's close to the jail doesn't mean that they are doing stings around here. Yes there is always police presence in the area because they are taking people to jail. Don't worry too much about police TRAVELLING southbound on Orient Rd, if there is someone in the back of a police car, THEN THEY ARENT PULLING YOU OVER.

I've seen guys describe a girl as "smoking hot" and once seen up close, they had sores, scabs and other stuff going on. I go through the area just about every day and I've not seen anyone that could remotely be described as "great looking. " I'm not calling Mr. Green a liar; I Just haven't seen this with my own eyes.
There have been stings on this section of Broadway, a few in 2014 alone. On one night, they took in about 5 guys in the same spot within 45 minutes. That's a fact, check the "Florida Arrests" site and you'll see for yourself.
Also, in 2014, there have been a few girls arrested on Orient Road for offering to commit. Again, this is all verifiable.

She said she needed to freshen up in the bathroom. After about 15 minutes, I knocked, she said I'll be right out. Another 15 minutes, same thing. Door was locked, tried to get in.
