Overall though she is not bad. We had good conversation and a good time together. She told me a few things about herself and her English was pretty good. I believe that she is leaving Thursday.

Yumi is back having the girls leave the doors ajar ala the old BT days of keeping the curtains open an inch or two so she could be sure nothing unauthorized was going on. Hopefully it won't last long. Time will tell if will get back to normal or not.

After a few bright, shining months, it seems the sacred house is once again closed. Damn.

Stopped by today to see Parkville's finest for a real rub and drew Iri. Decent massage for full 60 minutes and left happy. Rub for $ and standard for finish.

If you tried to exit before that the steam jet would peel the flesh off your ankles.

Golden in Columbia (off Waterloo) has a steam room, at one time they always put you in there instead of the sauna. Had a bucket full of aromatic herbs of some sort that sat under the steam jet. Not sure what they were but combined with the steam did a great job of clearing sinuses, but it smelled a little funky.

In scattered trips over the last couple / few years they don't seem to use it anymore, just the dry sauna. The steam made them a viable choice for me even if the other services were limited. Maybe if you called ahead they might fire it up for you?

I recall another long gone place (Key?) only had the "dry" sauna, but before leaving you there the attendant always splashed the water on the rocks liberally leaving a dense fog that gradually dissipated.

In 20 years visiting nearly everywhere north of the river, those are the only three I remember that ever had steam.

I liked it better than the sauna, it was worth going out of the way (or accepting limited services) for.
