Place on Holly in Sterling
Stopped by an old haunt on Holly in Sterling. I usually get the manager, since I guess she is the only one that works there for the most part but she had a "new" girl there on Saturday and asked me if I wanted to try her out. I said, sure, why not. The "new" girl was a middle aged Chinese woman. Nothing to write home about. Plain looking, out of shape. I should had just kept with the manager.
Massage was ok, not great compared to the manager's massage. Activities were standard noVA. While performing activities, she had this expression on her face and making slight noises as if she was getting herself off or had to go to the bathroom really bad.
I tipped the standard rate and left. Afterwards, I shake my head and wonder if it's time to quit the AMP game around here. Man, some of these places are just hitting rock bottom.
My recommendation of this place: Not recommended. Even for a quick fix with the manager, I'm beginning to lose interest in this spot.
A hot day, but not so hot at the AMP
On a very hot day, I thought the timing perfect for a repeat visit to one of the new DMV spas.
EXTERIOR.
- Parking: Plenty -- some with shade. GPS guidance may not take you to the correct place, but a little are&are around the mediplex / officeplex.
- Entrance: Although the entrance faces the main road, trees and a fence provide cover from the road (but not from the neighboring offices). Use the left-hand door that leads up the stairs. Ring the bell at the top of the stairs for admittance.
INTERIOR.
- Cleanliness: This is a new place. Still looks new, aroma of fresh paint and good-clean facilities.
- Shower Room: The shower room is larger that some. New, well tiled. Clean and odor free. The table itself was clean and in new condition. TS offered at beginning or end of session depending on the provider and number / sequence of customers.
- Water Temperature: The TS water was neither too hot nor too cold -- but the body-soap was COLD!
- Air Temperature: The air was conditioned without being too cold.
- Bathroom: Appears to be clean (I did not use).
- Sheets / Towels: Sheets and towels in the studio and shower were clean / new. At the end of the session, all the towels and sheets were changed while I was preparing to leave.
- Therapy Room: The studios are a bit on the smaller side, with full walls and doors (which the therapist keeps slightly ajar). The massage table was new and of standard size (with hole in table for face comfort). A bar is along the ceiling.
- Final Amenities: The therapist used the hot, moist towels to wipe away the massage cream. I've been offered water and candy on each visit.
SERVICE.
- Time: I opted for, and received, a full hour. Fee = . 8. EXCELLENT. I have never been shorted on time, and have never been rushed.
- Therapist: My therapist this week was taller than many in the area. I have met three at this location. Those looking for the 20-something "unicorn" can look elsewhere. Those that like other therapists in NoVA will like these therapists. All have been pleasant to talk to, and all have been pleasant to see. All therapists dressed well, but not fancy.
- Session: The massage was of light to moderate pressure. Tip was standard for the session with no complaints.
This is a nice place -- but other places have better massage. They appear to want good, repeat customers. I am sure I will return, but not swiftly.
Not bad -- but, as is true in all things, .
YMMV Alot.
This is what a report ought to look like
What a nice, detailed, and informative report, in a very easy-to-read, well-organized format. I like it. .
Hats off to you, amigo, and thanks for sharing your findings.

Only so much a hobbyist can do
I agree with the principle, and I mean no disrespect to the seniors, from whom I have learned alot.
It's a tough call on how much detail to provide. Since there was no incriminating commentary in this review, I didn't see the need for the riddle. This one was a little too subtle for me, but that's okay. It's all good.
When it comes to posting reports in the forum, there's only so much a hobbyist can do to protect the AMP or indie provider, the rest is up to them. FWIW, I operate under the assumption that Uncle LEO pretty much knows which MPs are legit and which provide extras. And, if a new place opens up, I'm guessing they believe the worst about it until proven otherwise.
So when it comes to giving the name of a place, I personally don't feel any need to talk in riddles or cryptic clues. Besides, a LEO who works the AMP beat can probably decipher any code better than most mongers. My preference is to discuss service levels and prices (std NOVA, NOVA+, or other) and my general level of satisfaction, but to only discuss specifics of the masseuse via PM with trusted members.
IMHO, it's the nature of the biz that all AMPs will attract unwanted LEO attention at some point. It's the responsibility of the AMP itself, and the individual girls, to be cautious about stings and there's only so much a hobbyist can do. By keeping some specifics on the down-low, Uncle will still have to do their own homework and figure things out on their own.
BTW, whenever I encounter an AMP girl who doesn't do enough to make sure I'm not Uncle LEO, I make sure to have a talk with her (after the end of the session, of course) and I try to give her with a few tips so she can hopefully avoid problems.
With regret for being obtuse
I accept the insight of very senior posters -- and encouragement to continue posting.
I regret my last review (Franconia Wellness. FW) frustrated readers.
In summary.
1. I visited FW.
2. This is a new place, clean and well appointed. It has all facilities associated with a quality spa.
3. It is not hard to find, but, it is in a complex of several buildings.
4. The massage technicians are nice, professional.
5. I received my full hour (I do not like to be shorted on time).
6. It is likely I will return.
FW is a good quality place. Be polite (as we always should).
I considered this a good massage experience, but as is true in all things.
YMMV Alot.
Better to ask in the MoCo forum
Had a recent session with Nalee while passing through, selected her after reading good reviews elsewhere. Very good massage skills. Excellent attitude and cheery personality, English is decent. Dressed somewhat sexy, some OTC roaming allowed, worked out all the kinks, can go deep. Nothing more likely available besides FBSM. Still got my money's worth at 1. 2. Would repeat.

Also, any intel on these two? They are in Silver Spring, and I had considered these before seeing Nalee.
