Sounds like a license issue
Ditto to what Nyhornet said. Nice place, nice people. Hope all is OK. Wanted to return to on trip up to and. VA. Guess I will hold off. Can't they look for some real criminals?
Happy Guy 2.
A full-on LEO sting or raid would probably not have included the "suits" described in the original post, there would have been multiple cops and someone would probably have been walked out in handcuffs. This sounds more like the tactic many counties use to shut down spas by checking licenses and issuing citations for violations.
Unfortunately the end result is mostly the same for the hobbyist as the spa will usually shut down at least temporarily, and sometimes permanently, and the unlicensed girls will scatter. But at least there shouldn't be criminal issues hanging over their heads, just the civil citation stuff.
New in Springfield, but actually Franconia
Lots of chatter here and elsewhere, but this is a cautionary tale about what happens when big head has no say in the adventure at hand. In the wilds of Franconia, there exist two new spots for us to invest our funds and in return, we expect a return on investment. In one of the more elite of the two, a pair (in my experience) of youngerish ladies dispensed first rate ROI, but for some reason they have both gotten VERY cautious with their activities, to the point that my last visit (with the older), while satisfying, was well below the standard set earlier by Sally. So, always on the look-out, I transferred my wellness business elsewhere. First visit or so was Truly outstanding. However, here comes the other shoe. I think the party in Franconia may be over. If not over, at least changed enough that few will make the trip to find out. Today, while seeking that which we all do, I needed some wellness and made the trip to Franconia. Probably the worst AMP experience that I can remember. Total waste of time and $$. I'll provide details to participating folk, otherwise don't bother to PM me.
Safe. AM.
Unconfirmed info, but. . .

Safe. AM.
I heard through my grapevine (unconfirmed) that the ownership / management wants to take this spa in a legitimate direction and may, thus, be winding the current approach down. Apparently has to do with a desire for less hassles with LEO, licensing, inspections, etc. Again, this is unconfirmed info, but the source has been pretty well connected in all the years that I've known her. So, as AM advises, it's probably best to expend your heard-earned dollars and limited free time elsewhere. This is all I know and am able to post for the time being, so please don't flood me with PMs. If I hear anything further about this rumor, I'll post a follow-up.

New place that brings back memories
Remember where the Golden K girls decamped from G-town to the burbs? Big sign on building the occupied, and CL indicates they've opened. The fact it is a big sign indicates that the days of yore won't be returning, however.
Herndon Good AMP spot with happy ending
I am coming Herdon area near Fairfax area from Philly, and good AMP with Halley ending?
I will recommend the best Philly place for exchange.
Thanks,
The never ending game of AMP whack-a-mole
As anyone who has partaken of this hobby for more than a few years can attest, the more things change the more they stay the same.
The AMP landscape is constantly in flux, with new places opening, old places closing or going legit (for various reasons) and girls moving around so quickly it makes both your heads spin. Uncle LEO plays the whack-a-mole game from the angle of trying to manage what they see as a problem, while dealing with citizen complaints and launching the occasional enforcement (code, licensing or criminal) operation. From the hobbyists' angle, the whack-a-mole game consists of trying to keep track of decent places and ATFs while avoiding ripoff / upsell joints or legit places that teasingly advertise as though they offer extras.
All of the posts about recent events and issues in the NOVA AMP scene could just as easily be from 5 years ago or 5 years in the future. IMHO, it's generally a disappointing proposition, in terms of time, $$ and expectations, to chase after the latest positive report or the newest spa "Grand Opening". Unless you make it a full-time vocation to keep track of the constant changes in a spreadsheet (BTW, if you do track info like that, please PM me!) it's kind of like buying into the stock market after the hype has already hit the headlines.
Based on advice received from many seniors over the years, one way to minimize the downside of constant changes is to focus on a few good prospects and develop the kind of strong client-provider relationship that will ensure they keep you in the loop when things change. There are seniors in this forum (you know who you are) who have the personal digits of their favorite masseuses and mama-sans and who get text updates when things change and preferential treatment even if the location is forced to go legit. I have one AMP ATF who travels back and forth from NYC and always let's me know when she's in town. I also have one mama-san who knows my preferences, sends me a text when she has a new girl she thinks I'd like and let's that girl know I'm a trusted regular and to take good care of me. Of course, there are no guarantees in this crazy hobby, but anything that might save you $$ and frustration is worth a try.
Good luck and stay safe out there!
Vivi & Lily's Open for Massages
They were open several days ago. The therapist advised that, in the future, they would be DIY because of recent concerns. I don't have any further information so no PM's, please.
The "open" signs are once again lit. I am not sure if they had to cut back to just the licensed gals, only one gal was at Vivi's on my last visit and it was not the younger Anna, who may or may not still be around. You will see signs posted in the rooms from management for your reading pleasure. They may discourage you, but hope floats. YMWV dependent on several factors, most important your former relationship with the gal or lack thereof. // SSRod.
