Curious if you are NOT talking about take-out, because it seems like the clubs on the block change their rates with the wind, depending on the shift (day / night) the girl, the bartender, and the customer. Because lord knows they are sizing you up (I sometimes wonder if I should not shower and put on some really shitty clothes. Unfortunately that's just not my thing).

I know for a fact that a bartender will sometimes quote .10. 20 above the average / standard going rate for the club, IF he thinks you won't balk. Well fuck that. I told a bartender once "I've *NEVER* paid that" and started to walk away before he backed down. Moreover, I have found the girls usually want a 1. 50-2. 00 tip but most will readily agree to 1. 00. Then when you're done they beg for more (money that is).

Girl: "I got bills to pay. Come on, $50 won't kill you."

Me: "I got bills too, and $50 won't kill you either. Til next time!"

During this time I became hooked on 'the block' and its fine establishments and what I learned is that the rates are like the weather always changing. The key elements are: Day of the week, time of day, events going on in inner harbor, amount of foot traffic so far, and personal working. I found that Tues, Wed during the afternoon to be the best times. My most memorable score down there was in the JB on a winter afternoon, I paid. 8 to go into this room in the basement and. 50 tip got me 1/2&1/2 Plus Greek! Till this day I still take 'sick days' from work and travel down to see what I can achieve, and the girls and prices are always different. Also The Midway can be a great place to get take-out before the clubs open and during shift changes.

Went to Haven place last Friday night; as always lots of very attractive dancers. One of the girls was at the end of her shift and said "Party at my place .5 dollar Kool aid". A. Neither bartender nor dancers mentioned it.

I actually use to be a bouncer ad sherrie's and that actually does not exist. It was made up by that girl. There IS a video camera in the private lap dance area and the bouncers DO watch it and will come in and kick you out for anything extra. Best time to go is during the daytime because bouncers come in around 7ish but when a bouncer is not there, the bartender watches private room activities on he computer so there is no guarantee.

Some girls do offer carry out but the girls I knew that offered it are long gone and now working on the block somewhere.

I've been hitting Haven Place as of late, but I have wanted to check up on some of my former haunts, so I started with Tony's (at Monument and Kresson) this past Tuesday night, and regretted it immedietly. I'm more of a SW guy than a strip club guy, but I had a buddy in town Friday, so I figured I'd keep him busy. Saturday night seemed to be slow on the block. After visiting Red Room and Harem with little interaction with the dancers I went to Chez Joey.

I had hoped to see Katie as she was listed on the board but didn't see her. As I was about to leave, Lexi a fairly tall brunette was quite agressiveat the bar and I was considering two for 30 lap dance and she guaranteed that I would come for a $20 tip. Insisted that I pay the tip in advance. This was a mistake. Dance wasn't very good. Even danced with no contact for several times. Didn't want her nipples touched. Said they were too sensitive.

She didn't deliver and of course would not honor her guarantee nor return the tip. She is good looking but she didn't try very hard to deliver.
