If you're worried, suggest taking a pic that is not something you've posted elsewhere and blur the eyes. Not foolproof, but better than nothing.

That way you have some plausible deniability that the pic was just scraped from the dark corners of the web and reused without your knowledge.

Some girls are escorts, some are down on their luck and some are looking for guysthat have a couple of bucks. This is a cross between a dating site and a market. Try and see what they want and sometimes they'll lead the conversation. Ask if they are interested in meeting for coffee to see if there is a spark.
