I don't know how common the practice is but I have had a number of ladies ask for the hotel and room number and then call be back on the land line. I often thought that if I were LE I would still answer the phone, assuming the department actually did spring for a room. Or, maybe the lady calls the front desk and somehow asks who is in the room? I kinda doubt that.
Now, that brings up another point. What is the most unusual LE check all of you have ever experienced? And, ladies, how do you do your LE check? I had a very unusual one the other day, a in call girl that used what I might think is a classic SW LE check. It was a surprise. Not a bad one.

Now just so you know they can offer you an alcoholic drink (beer or wine out of fridge NOT purchased while with you) I have some experience with as I was handed a beer before being busted in polk county years ago (and hence lulled into a false sense of security) ALL of what you have stated is enough to make me say no. Recently I have experienced a TON of weird or just not too bright phone calls. Questions about services, whether I offer these services bare, asking for me to meet them in the parking lot, etc. ALL red flags which gets you no appointment. In addition if you call me from a landmark less than a 5 minute drive away (hell I could walk it in 5) and it then take 20 minutes to get to me I start to worry if you are rounding up the calvary to bust me. This was one person just yesterday but something about it spooked me. Better safe than sorry and it helps for guys to do their research and if they can offer a reference, however I am newbie friendly if they act with some sense. [/QUOTE]Most cities do not have our central Florida LE craziness. Ladies and in particular independents, would call the hotel and in order to be patched in they have to identify the guest by name. Now that they have a room number and a guest name they can use that as a safety back up incase something happen to them. That was my understanding anyway.
LE check, I remember a while back someone came up with a form asking questions and requiring a signature and I'd. I thought that was interesting and would be tough to challenge in court. The sad part, I trust the SP with my info more than LE.

I received a very odd and strange PM today from a certain member of this board. So of late I am reading a lot of posts that are complaints of poor communication by a few SPs that advertise on here. I am in no way trying to tell anyone how to handle their business but let me iterate a few keys to successful communication and running a business.
State the best for of communication in your ad, not everyone has the same one. I personally prefer text due to my job where I may not be able to actually speak at the moment but can be available very shortly, I also use a text app so voice calling can be broken up if not near a solid wifi connection. Email is also good for me since my email is attached to my smartphone. This way no one questions how to contact you.
The most important rule of all is a NCNS is unacceptable. If you were in a position within a company a NCNS would result in termination. No questions asks. So what makes you think that NCNS is acceptable in this hobby? It is essentially a business also. No successful business runs on policy where NCNS is acceptable. Why should they even consider calling you again after a NCNS? Even with a discount? If you have the time to set up an appointment you have time to contact them to cancel it. No one is saying you have to explain why but let the gentleman know so they can look elsewhere.
Courtesy goes a long way. If I give you a reference a thank you should be in order, if You can hit my phone asking about a member you can thank me for the intel. You can bet if I don't get a thanks then you won't get a reference or referral again, mind you my rolodex is pretty damn solid. Same thing about gentlemen wanting a reference clear it with the SP first so we know who is actually contacting us first. I am not giving out any info otherwise cause I am going to be extremely pissed if someone would give my info out without clearing it with me. This is a huge safety factor. My circle is small for references and even smaller for referrals.
Consistency. What more can I say. A proven track record says everything. When I read an SP stated I know my communication can be sketchy but no one questions my service. Hmmm. Idk about all that. Most gentlemen get turned off by the sketchy communication and won't even go thru to see how the service is.
You won't make it in this hobby, or any business if you can't balance communication and service. Look at women who consistently get great reviews on here. They ALL know how to handle both aspects of the deal. Everyone has different standards and what they want in service but communication I think is pretty clear across the board.
Some might get a little irritated by this post, those that do are probably those it is directed to. And that is fine also because the fine gentlemen of this community will just keep calling those can meet ALL their needs.
