CL is what it is, an open air bazaar. I have done quite well and have done quite bad. If you are paying less than $125, chances are you are going to get a skank who should be walking the street. You are right on the money. I have done a couple of Opppsss, C Ya with several CL gals. I arrive and say just like banking with my money, truth in lending laws, baby, NOT as advertised and just leave.

There are though some real treasures on there but there is much work to sort through the BS.

Alot of the women that posts on cl also have ads on eros and in the phoenix but they sometimes use different names or phone #'s. I have got women from cl & the phoenix that are in eros that are charging 3.-4. for 1.5-2.. I guess they think eros people have alot of $$ or cl & phoenix people don't. So if you have time to do the research (if you can read this forum you can do it) you can find some good deals.

But it makes more sense IMHO to keep all the posts about an escort in an escort forum, etc. , no matter what the source. The poster should just specify the source (Phnx, CL, etc.) Posters should do a lotta things, I guess, but you see what I mean.

Similarly, do we really need different city forums? Though that may reflect the city-street specific perspective of the original intention of the entire site, if you catch my drift.

If bloody CL allowed easier posting there, would be better post reviews there, to aid all the mongers out there, and bring more market pressure to bear for quality and value.

Have had better luck on eros, given that there is a less chance on the bait and switch there. Not that there hasn't been any o there, just that there is more of that going on CL with the Asians and Brazilians. Sure the $$ are a little bit higher but when they ask I always say I saw them on CL or read their review on TER and many times I get the discounted rate.

The key for me with CL has been to cross reference and stay away from the "scrolling posters". If a girl is posting every fifteen minutes just to stay at the top of the page it is probably her pimp doing it. The legit providers post once or twice a day and that's it. They know that serious customers will spend a little time and scroll down a page or two looking for the real deal.

I look for girls who also have Eros ads or their own web sites as well since.

I have also noticed some escorts, such as Lydia & Ally Moore, become regulars on CL. A symptom of too much competition in the Boston market? I think and hope so, since more competition means us poor hobbyists have more buying power.

I do try to be honest with my photographs while remaining appealing and I can't really help that my reviews on TER are overinflated or that most reviewers do not note my stature. Regarding the influx of escort providers on Craigslist: Unfortunately for you, the Boston market has not yet reached saturation like it has in the likes of Atlanta, DC or New York. Saturation is DC where the Florida Latina Ho Mills routinely send up brand new hardbody 18 y.o.s for $200-250 GFE.

Escort providers should be encouraged to use CL & Backpage in my opinion as a means of advertisement, coupled with sensible methods which keep out LE/abusers. It levels the playing field, makes the provider more accessible AND detracts from the bait & switches/robs who have to compete with a reputable girl.

Last thought: as others have said you will always find Eros listed providers using other mediums & quietly negotiating. My personal motto is you can't legitimize the illegitimate and no matter how glossy the site, or snotty the provider everyone has a pressure point. EROS - it's like the commercial that says "only smucks pay full price". EROS charges outrageous prices and to even meet the girl is insane. Questionaires, call backs, etc. ? WTF? I'm just looking for a little strange not applying for a job. $250 - $300 on CL will give you anything and better than what is on EROS.

Plus CL gives you the location and you know the girl is there TODAY.
