I won't even bother to post the link but I think the common denominator of scams is "send me a picture of your I'd (or of you)" and / or pay deposit up front. Whether it is LE or blackmail how are you going to deny it if they have a picture of you or your I'd AND a monetary transfer from YOU?

I contacted an inde and she asked for 1/3 of her price for deposit. She gave me the line that it will ensure I don't cancel. But there's no protection for mongers at this point.
