"Suspension" implies they intend to let you back. I've never heard of anything meant to be temporary.

But sometimes you can plead your case and get the decision reversed. I had to do that once, a few years ago. Supposedly was reported for "soliciting" and I emailed customer service, told them I never did that and asked them to show me the messages that were suspect. They let me back on.

I actually had emails from support and a follow up survey asking how support was doing. So maybe things are changing there.
