Stopped by Apple Spa on my way through ATL. Was greeted by a woman that I thought was the mamisan as she was older, slightly hefty, and you get the idea. I ask if there's another woman and a mid-upper 40s woman comes out looking like she's strung out on meth. I thanked them for their time and skedaddled!
At least the massage was good and only cost $50. If nothing else I will go there when all I'm looking for is a massage. I know what to expect now.

I could tell she was a bit miffed about me asking, even though the question has got to come up a lot.
I still go for the massages, though. She's strong and pretty, and once she got to know me was pretty talkative (which I like).
I was afraid of that. Nothing pisses me off more than a big upsell. Just put it out there up front. Can't imagine she gets a lot of repeats with that tactic. Thanks for the info.

I guess I need to read the reviews closer. Saw their name pop up quite a bit so took the plunge. I did not realize it was a place with partial walls and curtain door. Add the fact that it was busy and there were customers on both sides of me and you can hear everything made it very distracting. Got a decent massage, the full hour and left happy so all was not lost, but I prefer a place with a little more privacy and you can have a little conversation with the lady without the whole world hearing you, or you hearing them.

The diner only had about a half dozen parking places, but while eating, I saw the owner put a sign in the window "Football Parking $100." I said he wasn't likely to get anyone to park there at those prices and he said that was the idea. He was running a business, not a parking lot, but if someone was willing to pay that price, he would do it.
The odds are this girl isn't really interested in providing full service, but if someone is dumb enough to pay a ridiculous price, she'll do it. What she probably hasn't figured out yet is that she will lose more customers with the stunt she pulled that she'll "gain" by the rare goof who forks over the cash.
Saw a new foot massage ad on CL advertising $20 foot massages so checked out. Turns out it's the old May's under new ownership. All the masseuses are unattractive as one would expect but the massage was good for the price. I drew Jin, the oldest in the bunch.

They have full-length walls and doors on the rooms. However, no extras there.
Would not recommend XiWen because they have red curtains in lieu of room doors. Today when I was there I walked to the back to use the bathroom, passed by the massage rooms and could see a silhouette of a customer getting worked on.

Excellent massage for those of you who like it very firm. She worked her butt off for the entire 90 minutes and you practically had to scrape me off the floor by the time she finished. She works vigorously around the glutes and inner thighs. This is woody inducing so don't go if you can't handle that. As Nite says, this is legit massage only. The free shower is a nice touch.
I have one near me, corner of 29 and sugarloaf parkway that for the most part have always been good quality massages and no extra's. Swann in Snellville used to always be good quality, but no extra's. I am still in the search of a decent quality with a little extra. I actually have some back issues, so the quality of the massage is somewhat important but I like a connection with the therapist and to leave happy. But sometimes the fun is in the search.

Of course there are always the Korean AMPs but the massage usually sucks.

I feel your pain man I really do. I started feeling this way years ago and I decided I wasn't going to waste anymore money here trying to make it work here. It is getting really bad here, I read other cities forums that are smaller then Atlanta and they get better action then us having a major Airport you would think it wouldn't be so bad here. Just save your money and start hitting some places overseas. I think many more guys will start doing the same thing until they get better girls here worth spending your money on.
