Coming this week to hang low for a few days. What are some decent hotels near the K? I previously stayed at the Warwick downtown. Place was ok, but had a few issues. First, the place is pretty far away, about 20 min driving. Then, street parking was TERRIBLE. Meters throughout the whole area. Finally, I felt a bit odd walking through the lobby with girls obviously out of their place.

I saw a Days Inn Roosevelt Blvd ad online. How is this place? Any issues bringing guests? Also can you recommend some other spots, but nothing crappy where I need to look around my shoulder! At least a Days Inn, Holiday Inn etc. , or better. I will post as soon as I can!

Took a drive down after work around 8-9 pm and the AVE WAS DEAD. I'm talking tumble weeds and a page out of Revelations The End of Days. Most have a 15 min dropoff zone that you can usually get 30 minutes from if it's quiet time for arrivals.

Days Inn Roosevelt is fairly close to the north end of the Ave, feels fairly shitty (even accounting for it being a Days Inn), and has signs up saying "absolutely no visitors", but they don't really blink when you bring a lady in. Girls seem to think it's miles away, but it's barely more than 5 minutes at night from Erie-Torresdale. Definitely closer than the Carlyle to Somerset.

There are some new AirBnB options around now too. Availability is probably through the roof in the current climate. I saw a few that looked thoroughly attractive for this purpose when I last looked, but I was trying for a busy weekend.
