Went to Art and was either blown off or tricked to pay the entrance fee. There were other dudes walking around so I assume I was not the only thirsty dude that day. Better luck next time I hope.

The name is common, Google returns an unsolved murder at a Windsor location, and a bunch in Florida and Kansas City. I've been there several time and it's always been quiet and private. It's not going to win any awards on Trip Advisor, but it was clean enough. I always ask to see the room before I pay, the rooms differ quite a bit from one another.

Another way to get a cheap room at a major chain is bidding on Priceline. When you arrive, the room will be prepaid. I've gotten some very decent local hotels for $65, for the entire night. When your date leaves, you can relax, shower and whatever before departing.
