I didn't mean to piss on anyone's cornflakes either, and as a hobbyist myself, am certainly not trying to re-engineer anyone's moral compass. In my opinion, and just my opinion, it would seem a tad naive to think that the practice doesn't exist to some degree in the local AMP world.
My intent was to bemoan the loss of another city where there were several spas to choose from, basically all on one day. I did not particularly wish to bring up the topic of human trafficking for discussion here on this thread. But I suppose there is little in the way of actual reports of AMP activity, so maybe? I have often thought that this concept is being blown (pardon the expression) way out of proportion to make it seem reasonable to shut down spas, and protect the victims (providers) from the oppressors (us poor mongers, some of whom just want to be able to pay for something as simple as a nice massage with a HE or maybe more).
At any rate, if any monger starts to feel guilty for participating in the hobby because of pressure from the do-gooders, it may be time to take up golf, or shuffleboard, or gambling.
while i am not privy to all the personnel recruitment and employee retention strategies for all the amp's, i once googled the out of state phone#'s of an amp in my local area, and came up with a classified ad in a chinese language newspaper in nyc, which after processing the ad through bing translator, learned that it was a help-wanted ad for a massage person. hard to see how that could be considered servitude or forced labor.

Well, I'm in Massachusetts. So I want to see the documentary where they traffic the 40 and 50 year old middle aged Asian women.

now i'm not saying that this covers all working girls reason for working as i am positive there are real forced slaves who are pushed into the sex trade against there will, its just not nearly as wide spread in the spa world as the do-gooders would have you believe.
happy new years all and stay safe!
Strange sentiment IMHO. For the life of me I can't recall a single case in New England where human trafficking was proven, but it did make for a catchy phrase for the do gooders to push in getting the newest state statute pushed through. Can anyone else remember even one case in New England where human trafficking was actually involved?
Although it had nothing to do with any of the AMP's there was a case a few years ago in Providence where two guys were forcing a couple of women to have sex with men. Somebody got suspicious when they saw a constant stream of men going in and out of the house. The girls were rescued and I believed reunited with family in another state.

Good relaxing time.
Well on a happy note. Yesterday I was in a mood for a nice relaxing TS and massage. So I went to NMS. This was my second time there since the shit hit the fan in Prov. I asked for and received the same girl as before. I really wanted a full, (front and back) massage.
I won't mention her name here, but she is as good as any professional massage I've had. She speaks decent English so we can converse some. She's a hard worker and wants to make sure she please's you. We ran over about 15 min. They weren't very busy yet (I went at 9am). She said it was fairly busy Christmas Day she had worked till one am. If your looking for a good massage and a good TS I highly recommend. PM me for her name.

hey sms i think we are on the same wavelength. i'd never paint the issue with a broad brush. nice that this forum can discuss rationally. be safe!

Tiers of business
Indentured service vs. Personal choice.
The p4p industry has a number of niches to it from the street walker, inner-city stereotypes to the high-end escorts the politicians & celebrities use.
My narrow personal impression is there is a mix between the "have tos" and "want tos" depending on what market segment you talk about. The media routinely does "documentaries" of the street walker, inner-city types with the negative images of drug use and manipulation by a typically male pimp. They would be within the "have to" indentured service category.
Asian friends tell me that in their home countries there are real examples of what the media sensationalize as indentured service. My Asian friends tell me that even in USA cities with large Asian populations some of the indentured service type market niche exists, but typically limited to Asian only businesses.
The "have to" business model is truly offensive to most of Western culture, myself included, and I would venture to guess hobbyists reading this Board are near universally offended and I doubt inclined to patronize such a provider.
I can only draw conclusions from my own AMP experience. I tend to be chatty with the staffers asking all a full range of conversational topics. Where do they live, where in Korea do they call home, how often do they go back, what airline do they use (because I travel too) , do they get good deals, what sports do they like, how expensive is rent in Flushing / Atlanta / Houston / Los Angeles / Alexandria VA, etc.
Most like to talk back and will not only respond but add to the conversation and ask similar questions of me such that, in the end, I know something about them and their preferences and hobbies. I just can't remotely fathom that with any frequency the staffers with whom I've conversed are in the "have to" versus "want to" choice category. It just doesn't seem to fit.
Touchy issue, everyone has different experience sets. But this is an issue our society likes to sensationalize and I think often without a solid factual foundation.

On the mark!
Well written; eloquently stated, and absolutely correct.
Superb.
Happy New Year.

Ode to OS.
A year ago almost exactly, was my birthday. My SO did not even get me a present. So I headed to OS and insisted on not one, but TWO girls at once! A VERY fine time was had by all with lots of giggling from the girls.
If only I could do it again this year.

I'm still nervous to venture into Providence to visit an AMP. Hopefully things are beginning to subside a bit and I can head back there again. For now, I'm going to stick to the MA AMPs. Although I've been hearing good things about FE lately, so I might try there.

Pink at FE
Saw Pink on Sat morning at FE. Lot was full but the spa was mostly empty, only heard 1 other monger there. Hear the doorbell once or twice.
Pink is cute, youngish, spinner-type. Very pleasant and friendly. TS and massage were cursory, she did some back-walking. Other services were a bit rushed, even mechanical, although she was very nice throughout. It was too bad because she is a looker. Maybe others will have better chemistry with her, or she was in a distracted or bad mood today. I probably would not repeat with her given the option, but would try again if she's the only one available next time.
I wonder if it is the same pink that worked at 1021.
Doubt it. I have not met the Pink from 1021, but based on the reports I read about her she sounds like a different person. I think "Pink" is pretty high up on the list of AMP names that they all seem to choose from.
