These girls are normally very customer service oriented. Sounds like a huge miscommunication effort that fucked you in that not good way. I always call and make an appt for the girl of my choice and the ask to make sure they aren't on their period like has happened to a few folks here. Be safe out there. And no, that was not me. Lol!
