Pomona police have reputation for being aggressive about prostitution. Holt is also fairly wide open so it is much easier for LE to spot you. The cop was trying to scare you with a ticket. Personally I have not picked up any SW's there. I am usually not in the area these days.

I have a somewhat unique car with a unique color, so it's easier for cops to identify my vehicle. For that reason, I try to limit how many times I pass by certain areas in a short amount of time. I also have multiple dash cams and a GoPro in my car, so if I do get stopped, I'll just tell them I'm documenting prostitution in the area for my YouTube channel.

I see the ladies on the corners all the time with cops passing by. The cops don't really care and know what's going on. I think they only pull over customers when they are talking to the girls. Not too sure.

My impression is that the LE stops guys for talking to girls in when they are in crackdown mode.

In between those months, they just seem to randomly stop people who make it too obvious by driving around too many times or they catch them in the act of picking up girls. The last few stings, they arrested an 82 year old and a 91 year old. Which is pretty sad because they probably didn't even know what was going on when they said yes to the deal.

New to this, what would be the pricing typically be for some of this like BBBJ+CIM?

Never answer questions and ask the officer why you were pulled over. If the response is "We saw you drive by 4-5 times" ask what statute that is in violation of and reiterate that you need to know if you are being detained or free to go. Detainment for investigation of a crime without a stated crime is an invalid detainment. Also, state you are not consenting to any searches. Stick to the script. Don't get intimidated.

If you encounter the wrong cop, and challenge him in this way, you could end up being right, but also be stuck there for a long time if he refuses to back down and then calls on his supervisor and possibly adding other things to the charge, such as no front license plate, expired tags, etc. And, then if you come back another day and actually pick up a girl and get stopped by the same cop, he definitely will not let you off.

I took a drive down Western from the 101 freeway south to Century Blvd. Yeah that was a long drive. Two different nights and all I saw at best were two BSW's each night, the entire distance.
