It had been two years since my one and only visit to this Springfield spa (wasn't so good back then! ). Made my return mid-afternoon today after seeing some nice reviews regarding the current providers.
In short, great stay! The interior of the facility was very nice.- clean and tidy. I spent my hour with Sara who was absolutely terrific. She is a real doll and extremely pleasant to talk to. The massage I received was firm (but gentle) and very relaxing. One of the best stays I've had at an AMP. I would definitely go back.
I had received some good comments regarding Sakura so I decided to run down there this afternoon around 1PM to check it out for myself.
I arrived, rang the door bell and was greeted by Lana, my provider. I thought I had arrived in Dreamsville! Probably in her 40s (always hard to tell) and she was curvy in all the right places. Hallelujah!
She led me to my room where I requested an hour stay and table shower. The facility was below average in my opinion. The spas in FC are much nicer in terms of the condition of the facility.
Anyway, I think I paid $70 (I was a little distracted by Lana's assets). Lana came back and told me the shower was not available (something to do with the cold weather?). Regardless, I told her that was fine so I assumed the position on the table. She proceeded to give me a nice massage but used a towel.
Thirty minutes later (30 minutes might be generous), to my disappointment we were done. Hadn't I just paid for an hour? I hid my disappointment, decided to be gracious because Lana was someone I would like to come see again. I got dressed, left her a tip, told her how much I enjoyed the massage and hoped to see her again soon.
As a result, I decided to zip up to Springfield and visit CTM which I reviewed below.
Been driving by Lily's the last couple of nights. The open sign is out. Has some overzealous LEO raided them again. The couple of times that I have been there, they were very nice, gave good service with a smile and soft hands. I'm sure there are places that deserve to be messed more than this place. Any intel out there?

The first one has been in use for a long time - since before Orange started to advertise as such. I doubt WYSIWYG applies to this particular spa - or any other that puts up ads on CL.

Older Korean lady who gave a decent massage and what I've heard is the standard NOVA finish. She was pretty good at the finish, but I was out of there in 40 min after paying for an hour, and I'm used to much better looking girls, especially for 80 with tip. Thinking about trying something on Craigslist, even though it will be more expensive.

Once upon a time, Sakura was one of the best AMPs in northern Virginia. Over the last year or so, service has gone downhill. The last time I went, I was in and out in twenty minutes. I've avoided the place ever since - I'm surprised it's still open, what with all the raids in PWC and Sakura's reputation (only HWC was better, and it is long gone). If I'm going to risk a visit in PWC, a twenty to thirty minute massage just doesn't cut it.

Never quite sure whether independent massage belongs in this thread. In any case, took a break from my usual viet Jin and took a chance on Thai Angel in Springfield. The prices seemed slightly high for massage only. 90 for 1 hr. But seemed a bit low for extra. Well, young nice looking Thai gal opened the door - it was a house. Probably the best 60 minute massage ever, including hot stones, but no extras. I doubt a return visit would improve chances. From Citi Paper phone number starts with 400, I think.

I had another even better experience with Ms. Koko. The TS was excellent and thorough with tons of hot water, the massage very relaxing with excellent customer service. Standard fee's. Koko is very quickly becoming an ATF.

To the senior members I PM'd. I have 100% confirmation that she was doing BBJCIM's. That is why she eventually got fired. She did it to a customer that wasn't looking for that extra. He complained to the mamasan. I know when she did it to me she didn't ask, didn't say a word, just went to town. I guess I got one of those NOVA once in a million years kinda service. Ok. On Monday stopped by the bird store in Skyline. 1st got Annie, who started with a lackluster massage with no oil. Interrogated me pretty hard due to my short, almost military, haircut. She insisted on keeping the drapery on me.
When I finally told her I was more comfortable with it off, she abruptly left the room, calling for Ajima. I'm thinking things are getting weird. I didn't know whether I was going to get bounced or what. Turns out not bounced, but more like "wrestled".
A new provider comes in. She's a Brick House named (I think) Melody. I asked her twice, and she said it slowly, like "Mel-o-tee", I think, but it never was very clear. She's clearly more amenable to "things", but to say she was a tad rough would be an understatement. I think she would make a good calf roper. She was K but almost had an Hispanic look about her.
After some more short hair interrogation, on with things. Fast, mechanical, a bit rough, at the end of the day the desired effect was achieved. Roaming? Don't know, didn't try. Didn't want to.
All in all, services desired were provided for the standard rates. I won't be going back unless I see reports of different providers that are more, um, feminine.
I decided to give the NOVA AMPs a shot and at each one. I was highly disappointed. I first went to SunStar and the lady was short and old but not ugly. I just don't find paying for it worth it. I then went to Enliven and the lady there was even older but had a taller and slender build which would have made her prime meat twenty years ago. I then checked out Rainbow and good God that lady was very ugly. She looked like one of those headmistress villains you find in children's books. What keeps these places in business especially since they only provide HJ normally?

For the most part, the older women at the VA AMPs are more experienced in actual massage and will to you really well for just a massage. I do not expect nor really want anything more than a really good massage from any Va AMP.
Keep you expectations low unless you really just want to get the kinks out of your back in these houses.

I was at the old place on FLa ave in DC , way back when, and a bust was on and I just told them that i was in for a massage so they said "get the hell out of here" and I left. It all depends but VA is a backasswards area, so expect the worst.

Wayward One has, on at least one occasion in the past, been unable to determine in his quarterly summary whether my review of a provider was positive or negative. In order to avoid any possible misinterpretation, this review is NEGATIVE.
Went off the reservation and decided to try a private label massage rather than an establishment. Did a little research, and this one seemed to fit the bill.
Crappy basement room of crappy S. Arlington hovel. "Beautiful Asian Lady". Maybe her soul, I don't know. Or maybe 30 years ago. I have been trying since I got there to come up with her age, and I've decided if it's less than 50 I'm shocked. Probably mid- to- upper, in fact. Frankly, I couldn't believe she was the actual provider and not just Ajima.
Paid for an hour, standard rate. The whole experience was 30 min at the max. On the flip, she began negotiating and immediately trying to get 50% more than standard for NOVA finish, with the use of a sob story. But market is market, I held firm. In spirit, and monetarily. But she went to work very mechanically and quickly, and now I had to look at her, so firmness elsewhere was difficult to obtain / maintain. With enough time and some extensive use of imagination, however, success was eventually achieved.
A minor, and in no way compensating, plus was that the massage itself (what little there was) was firm and her hands were strong. She went after and actually found and fixed some knots.
Won't do that again. And I wouldn't recommend to anyone else. She did offer a 4-handed massage for 1. 5, I never did get to see who the other 2 hands belonged to. Frankly, I was looking to get out of there.
Jeez, given my earlier in the week wrestling match and today's geriatric experiment, I think I'm going to stick to watching Skinemax while burning a small stack of 20s for a while.

Tuesday evening out running errands and decided to see my ATF MMS at my ATF spa. Angie away, so instead I am introduced to a new friend (Joanne).
We exchanged pleasantries, confirmed the hour, paid the house and then off to the TS.
Its been a month since the table in the shower disappeared.- but now there is a chair. I hated the chair. Standing (as I did on my last three visits) was much more comfortable, convenient and fun. Not sure how her skills would rate if the TS actually involved a table.- but, cleaner than when I went in, we returned to the room at the end of the hall.
I've been here before when it was quiet.- but it was REALLY quiet this Tuesday night.- could hear all the ladies talking happily. No phone and no door bells.

Yeah the one time and last time I went to SKO I was highly disappointed. I think I was out of there in 15. No TS. No massage. BJ stunk. One pressure, one speed. So boring I couldn't finish. She had the nerve to actually get frustrated with me. I wanted to go off on her, but figured it would just make it worse. She ended up finishing with a boring HJ. The post was not meant to be argumentative. It was meant as a warning to real seniors on this board. It was making them aware of possible LE activity. They will know exactly who/what I mean if they read back a bit..

This is supposed to be a harmless hobby. Let's try to keep it that way.
