Went to the Doll house in the afternoon on Tuesday. It was almost dead. 2 guys and 5 girls. I called and asked if the famous Carson was available and the lady said she was and when I went there no Carson and no one even knows who even Carson is. They had about 12 girls and the infamous Carson, was there. However she was tied up with another customer, so I hung out with this chunky brunette with glasses. She is working on a very temporary and very sporadic basis. She is doing it as a favor to the owner, and old friend of hers. Watch out for Oasis anniversary party in early Mar (8 or 9, I can't remember) 8-10pm. Free drinks and food for 2 hours. If it were something like last year, that place is going to be cracy. Totally packed. You may not get in if you were late. About 150 girls. You have to go there just for the experience. JW and LG, if you were going, let me know. I have been to a lot of clubs over the years in cities all over the US. My experience at Onyx last week was one of the worst experiences I ever had, including the clubs that turned out to be total dives. It was a waste of time. There are several clubs in the same area, and I am wondering if they are all like this. I went to Onyx because I happen to like dark-skinned honeys and had a great experience two months ago at Pin Ups (yes, I'm a white guy).
Most girls are 5-6 in looks, out of shape, not sexy, and generally unfriendly. The stage dancers consistently ignore customers. I tried several times to tip the girls on stage, and they didn't have the courtesy to at least look at me and give the proverbial "thank you, baby" line. They all looked bored and distracted.
The DJ is an obnoxious idiot, and the music volume is EXTREMELY loud. I am not a loud-music wimp; this place is just unreasonably loud. They have a fog machine that blows obnoxious choking smoke into the air all night. The shotglass waitresses do high pressure sales. The seats are uncomfortable, cheap stacking chairs. The parking situation is a mess. The guy told me $20 but reduced it to 10 when I told him to pack sand, and at the end of the night I had a tough time getting out because the lot was overcrowded.
Guys were standing in the aisles and along the walls because there were not enough seats. I kept wondering what the fire marshal max occupancy spec was. At one point, I managed to grab a seat. I had it for 20 minutes, but then I made the mistake to stand up to go use the bathroom. Before I walked away from the table, a waitress took it from me. She said I could not sit there anymore because someone else bought a bottle of champagne and wanted the seat. Very unfriendly atmosphere.
One sexy little thang (toned body, dark skin, few tattoos, no piercings) came up to me and pulled the old "it's my birthday" routine. I said no thank you just because I dislike when girls try to make you feel obligated to spend money on them. But toward the end of the night and after surveying the sparse quantity of attractive dancers in the club (the waitresses were all hot) , the birthday girl was among the hottest girl there. So I tracked her down for a dance or two. Well, I had to get my 'lap' dance while standing against the wall crunched between other guys. What a joke. The girl was hot and gave a decent dance (no touch but some grind) , but the whole experience was a major letdown.
I went to Strokers at 12-2pm on Saturday, so there were not many dancers (as expected) but the music is toned down so I could talk with the ladies. I recommend Strokers, and I will definitely go back later in the day when there are more dancers and the party is on. There was a mixed bag of girls (all black club; toned, plump, dark, light) , and all the girls were very friendly. This is consistent with the reviews I found online for Strokers, which all rated the club highly but noted it is not wall-to-wall babes. The seating is comfortable and better than other ATL clubs I have been to that have cheap stacking chairs. I think the overall personality of the club is fun and relaxed.
They do not have a VIP room, though. Bummer. For the lap dances, I got good mileage with light touching and heavy grinding. There is not much privacy in the club, so wandering hands can be seen my all. I don't know about takeout, since I didn't venture down that path (usually don't).
I ate lunch here (good food) and had fun chatting with the very friendly bartender (who is a sexy woman). Of the 7 girls in the club (1pm, still early) , three were out-of-shape plump and kinda ghetto nasty (but friendly) , two were cute but well-fed, one was very friendly with cute body and face, and the last one was a total babe. I got 10 lap dances from her and loved every minute of it. She had a great attitude and sexy moves.
